From The Sun Running out of managerial names! Some of this reminds me of the aspirations mentioned in the Dunga "era." - A name I'm surprised not linked to Romario in frame for QPR boss By SHAUN CUSTIS - The Sun ROMARIO is in the frame to become QPR boss. The Brazilian has been sounded out about an amazing move to Loftus Road. Romario, 43, quit playing last year and had a brief spell in charge of Vasco Da Gama. He has just become director of football at Club America, who are in talks with an English team about forging a partnership agreement. QPR owner Flavio Briatore wants them to become a feeder club to give the R’s the best boys from Brazil.
A source close to Romario said: “Briatore wants a man who will put QPR on the football map.” Alan Pardew could be another contender as he is free to return to football after negotiating a pay-off with former club Charlton. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2381182.ece

Comical ;D
Reading that my thought process went something like...
Ridiculous and who's he ever managed, blimey young Brazilians coming in, that's not done shaktar donetsk any harm, could be worth a go.
Then you read the last line to knock the stuffing and any vague belief out of you. What a choice, one of the greatest ex-footballers in the world or a window fixer!

As I read that I could feel my feet leave the ground. Only to be bought crashing back down to earth with that last sentence! Talk about being led up the garden path! scholeri or warnock could be good as long as its two up front Scholeri couldn't get Anelka and Drogba to work in a 4-4-2 so how he's going to do it with what we've got! Warnock's agent wants a pay rise for his client, methinks! Warnock is building at Palace and has a lot of youngsters coming into his first team. I don't see him leaving Palace for a couple of years, he is a feet under the table sort of guy and wouldn't last 5 mins. with Briatore. Not the man for the job.
