Yes, I was there, and if I'm not mistaken, wasn't that the game when the Bournemouth chairman said Rodney Marsh was a lucky player (meaning flukey, not favoured by the gods), which amused Jim Gregory who reminded him of the scoreline.

A classic scene - great to watch it at Christmas on the family in the north's new and excellent TV. On the other hand, does it beat old HB's two exchanges with his cockney mucker Claude Rains - 'I was misinformed' (about the waters) and, as they sauntered off into the moonlight for the finale 'This could be the start of a beautiful friendship'?
And it certainly can't be compared to the euphoria of the QPR v Bournemouth party night after the glorious 4th!
