Just not ours www.wolves.co.uk/page/News/0,,10307~1627661,00.html Wolves are to release approximately 1,400 further tickets for Saturday's visit of Queens Park Rangers thanks to the agreement of the Loftus Road club.

After we got relegated a few of us went up there. Long story but they lobbed cans. bottles and spit onto us, scumbags, don't think I'll ever visit that ground again. Not forgetting before and after the game.
The only redeemer was being almost in line with Dichio when he hit it. ;D ;D ;D

Always glad to be able to help Wolves. After all, why should May 4, 1976 mean anything to the current people at the club!

Always glad to be able to help Wolves. After all, why should May 4, 1976 mean anything to the current people at the club! I was thinking that this Saturday would be about time for "pay-back", dont you think Mike? I'll never forget the feeling of being totally let down by that team of 4-legged creatures . . . and being teased mercilessly by some cruel Arsenal fan which put me off that particular team (till I went and married one - there's no accounting for some people!!) So - back to this Saturday. I am SO hoping we put one over Wolves and delay the party! (I've no doubt they'll go up and they do deserve it - but it'll be a little bit of justice if they have to wait another week before popping those champagne corks!)

I was on a Kibbutz in Northern Israel, that night - and it was Israeli Independence Day/Celebrated on the Kibbutz. And it's two hours later in Israel. So I was walking around the kibbutz with a short wave radio trying to get the BBC...Trying to see if they'd give score flashes. And waiting for "Sports Roundup" And then...THAT Result. So utterly Heartbreaking.

I was at a youth centre mixing it with obnoxious kids of 13-14 years old - with my tranny glued to my ear.
But it was that horrible Arsenal kid who came in to confirm the 'Pool/Wolves score - rubbed my nose in the result he did.
Amazing, isn't it - people around in '63 will tell you exactly what they were doing when Kennedy got shot on 22nd November 1963
Us Rs fans can tell you exactly what we were doing in 4th May 1976 . . .

My Mum was the first person in the UK to know Kennedy had been shot. Me and my Grandad also knew twenty five minutes before the newsflash.
Just thought I'd mention that.

Nothing intriguing, she wasn't hiding in a grassy knoll or anything like that Mark. She was on overseas telegraphist and took the feed as it came in from America.Bit dull really eh!

I feel bad because I have no "Where I was when Kennedy was shot" moment to share, I have no idea where I was. I was 10 years old and don't remember understanding the significance until much later. Perhaps that was less cruel.
