So Capello has gone, with a sack of money bigger than anyone who writes on this Message Board will ever earn in their lifetimes. Rewarded for utter failure. Just like the merry-go round of Managers that we've paid off in the past that have spend a few nanoseconds at QPR and walked off with a nice wedge in their back pocket.
But it's not their fault they were offered the ridiculous salaries in the first place and this is where it is so wrong.
The people in the dock should be the idiots at the FA who employed him in the first place. "I know let's employ a man that can't speak the language and allow him to bring in his own team of Italians. As Richard Littlejohn would say 'You couldn't make it up'.
Hopefully QPR are learning that behind the scenes is as important as 'front of house'. Whether there is enough time to save us from the nightmare antics of Briatore and Paladini and start again in the Championship, the next few weeks will tell.
As for The FA, no doubt the croonies in the blazers will still survive when it is them that need to go too.
No doubt it will be God Speed for King Harry and the true British spirit will come through (we may still get beaten but at least the players will know what to do) just as hopefully Lord Mark of Shepherds Bush will carry the QPR flag.
Funny really........QPR and England getting rid of their Italians should signal better days ahead and if it wasn't for that alleged word from Terry to Ferdinand at Loftus Road........
Forever Loftus Road....the venue of legends that caused the end of Capello.
Hurrah!
