Playing with authority, scoring, overwhelming a team on the ropes who they had to beat, and stuck with one of the worst referees we could, who is Known to Clatter Cards for dubious reasons, find best player sent off for the softest of Red Cards and then completely disintegrate.
Not the mark of a team with spine that are fighting like tigers to stay up. I rest my case and will do something fun.

We have no fight at all , everyone needs to step up and take responsibility but mostly, the captain and gaffer need to inspire confidence and fight.,,.hope hughes gave everyone a right good bollocking after that but i imagine it'll be the bog standard cut and paste "proud in defeat" crap we read after every loss.,..i want to see some bloody emotion get angry hughes show them they have to win now or we're down. except adel...he can have champagne served by topless models for the rest of the night!!

If you check the Silly Cisse thread, you will see most people disagree with you. Raise your hands and it`s a red card - no argument, everyone in football knows it. What worried me is the fact that Cisse found it amusing, he should be heavily fined and make a public apology but that wont happen unless Hughes is stronger than I think and overcomes the embarrassment.

Just back and very depressed.
Definite sending off, thought Cisse could have got away with the shove but as soon as he grabbed the throat, its bathtime.
Only plus was Taarabt who worked hard and was our best player in terms of graft and skill, never thought I would say that. The lack of character was a worry, Wolves seemed to be more desperate to get tackles in and work the ball than we did. Whether this was due to the fact they had a man advantage or if it shows a fundamental problem in our team I'm not sure.
Makes Blackburn a total must win, for the first time I am starting to really think that we will go down.

Let's not give up yet...
But IF we do go down, I see a mass outflow of our players...And maybe of Hughes... (At a massive financial cost)

Maude that wasnt about luck. It was stupidity, it was pathetic actions of a player to raise his hand to another player which cost us heavily. We got what we deserved from this game today.

hogan i completely agree............we were totally unprofessional today...........Wolves came and did a job on us , much like norwich did......our players are not performing like prem iership profesionals, and that's why we are going down.............. sorry guys, but i think at the moment we are the worst footballing team in the league.............no creativity, no passion, no killer instinct and no desire..........its shameful

Lol maud, we have no disclipline or leadership. our captain batron gets himself sent off in an important game against naarich, he caused a rift with adel questioning his ability, rather than seeing the bigger picture and encouraging the best out of him on the field of play, and he is our captain, the leader, an extension of his manager on the field of play. i think barton should be dropped to the bench, and his place should go to someone who is passionate determined and committed to the cause. Another below par unnaceptable performance from him. I know you are hurting after todays performance we all are bud, and i luv u too. ;D

I look at this team and I see players who were once on the cusp but still could be great. They are great names but they're also what away fans call rejects. Right? I love them and today I was buzzing when I looked down the line but it's been going the wrong way for awhile now. We've got the best starting XII on paper in the lower half of the table but still we flounder and fall on the back foot too easily. I am still resting on Leslie to sort it out but if we don't win against Blackburn then we should all start thinking about relegation, by the sound of it some of you already have. I know you were all optimistic before kick off today. I know I was. Don't lie. I'm always the positive one but Wolves are crap and Tarrabt, he was the only kid trying. That says a lot.

I do know that when you look at our starting XI on paper, maybe one or two weakness: A better goalie...A Derry replacement...But every lower Prem Team has some weakness
And I also just don't accept we're down to X so we collapse. The "NOrm" is for teams down to X to play better than ever

Not the mark of a team with spine that are fighting like tigers to stay up. I rest my case and will do something fun. The commentator, during the game said" this is the best and easiest first 20 minutes QPR, have had this season." But in the back of my mind is that itch. We are all over Wolves, but still only one goal. Then back to normality Cissce sent off and we implode. With 15 minutes left, dispondent, turn off telly and go to bed. Game, set match thank you ball boys.

"I feel very sad for QPR"
The sadness should be felt only for the genuine supporters and to the memory of that great QPR teams in the past eg the teams of Rodney Marsh and Stanley Bowles etc. Those teams played with skill, passion and pride.
What we saw against Wolves was not a team but a collection of mercenaries (players/management) who are being paid fortunes but who evidently have no passion nor pride and are presently exhibiting insufficient skill. They are only in it for the money :and it is showing. Indeed in my view pattern is emerging in a lot of recent games where perhaps for 10 minutes, 20 minutes or even sometimes much of the first half this QPR team look like they know what they are doing but then lose interest.
Wolves looked like and played like a team and it is delusional to blame the referee as grabbing an opponents throat is a sending off no matter how much the culprit was provoked. The sending off is the excuse this team needed to capitulate: a brave team would have been empowered by it.
So be sad: yes.
But the way this gutless and clueless QPR team are surrendering matches and exhibiting a cowardly lack of passion, pride and ability you should be angry.
Be very, very angry.

Time gives you the opportunity to reflect and consider. There were plenty of 'knee jerk' reactions yesterday on this board and there's nothing wrong with that, it's human nature....some supportive some questioning....that's what the internet has allowed us to do. Although we do get the odd idiotic posting, we all have a view and every real QPR fan deserves the respect to have his/her opinion respected. 24 hours on from the Wolves game here's my own.
1 Cisse was an idiot. He apperred prior to the game on 'Football Focus' and seemed a really intelligent guy. The tackle on him was bad but he lost us the game by taking the law into his own hands. It's a shame as we started so brightly and Wolves were absolutely there for the taking. Both he and Zamora looked to be very sharp and with SWP also playing what I believed was his best first 20 minutes for a long my 3-1 bet (unfortunately not now possible in South Africa Road where our bookies has gone but they can't be arsed to take the signage down) looked at good thing.
2 Barton is one that I'm not just understanding. I thought he was a nasty hard bastard that takes no prisioners. Although he too started brightly he seems to believe his own tweets about his skill levels and what he does. He doesn't appear to motivate or encourage and his final ball is often either the wrong option or shocking. Whilst we don't want to see him playing the sort of game that will mean a sending off, is he really the Joey Barton the nasty player that you love if he's in your team but hate if he's not?
3 Unless Zamora was injured, I do not understand replacing him with Rob Hulse. Hulse appeared to be completely out of his depth in his limited games in the Championship let alone at this level. Once he came on we were effectively down to 9 men.
4 Adel was the Adel we love. He was so unfortunate with the shot that Hennessy made a great save to tip over and his little lob shot a few minutes later was devine. Unfortunatley he can't really defend but we have to accept that. On a bleak afternoon he was probably the shining light.
5 Enough has been written on this board about SWP and 24 hours later that debate will continue. On the right wing in the first 20 minutes he looked great. The rest of the time he drifts in and out of the game, goes down one way streets and generally seems to be lost.
6 Defensively we looked a little suspect, I guess we need to give the new guys time but Luke Young was exposed again. I cannot question his heart and desire but he does seem to get caught a few times reacting slowly to situations.
However I've woken up wondering where was the PASSION? This was a 'six pointer' and I'm not sure I saw anyone who in the last 30 minutes that really gave it their all for the cause. Sure Adel was unlucky but we didn't scrap as we needed to in these type of games.
There is always one team that the punters say is 'Too good to go down' I'm afraid I've woken this morning thinking that maybe the players are already thinking this and that really, really worries me this snowny Sunday morning.

How did we manage to nick a loss from the jaws of victory?? Even losing Cisse - a striker, shouldn't have had that effect on defence.

You're right about the passion. It's not there and it never will be. If you look at Norwich and Swansea and wonder why they are doing so well, it's because they have passion. Every player for those two teams knows where their teams have come from. Most of the Norwich players were in League 1 two seasons ago and they have the fight and passion to keep them up.
Make Adel captain and it may come back, last season when he was scoring from everywhere on the pitch and taking the ball past defenders it spurred the rest of the team on to see our captain doing that. Now we have Barton who is so wrapped up in his little Twitter world that he can't see we need more fight.
I think we will stay up but only because there will be 3 teams worse than us. We are still 16th and despite the bad form over December there were still teams doing worse than us.
