Profound Apologies for the excessive excerpt!Vital Football/QPRStrange Message From Briatore! As Gianni Paladini raised his arms and pumped the air, exhorting all fans to 'clap the boys, clap the boys' at the end of the game today - literally turning towards me and making sure that I, and my fellow supporters were properly acknowledging the players' efforts - and extraordinary scene unfolded with Flavio Briatore. Edit: [And to read the rest of what occurred and what Briatore reportedly said, go to.... www.qpr.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=3994

Well I apologize. Sorry (although still quite abit of the article remaining) But I can certainly partially rectify my error. "As if never existed"
Meanwhile if you go to a far more popular site than this one.... You'll be able to read the entire article!

They definitely were saying something up there at the end, and GP looked a little absurd as if just aping FB's behaviour. But they were celebrating, which means they probably still care and aren't trying to sell.

I was really surprised at Briatore's agressive pumping of his arms - and he looked me full in the eye and yelled at me, and those around me, to applaud - as if I wouldn't or hadn't, honestly! But I have seen him, and Briatore, react to a victory in this manner before, to be honest!
But I think they were all so relieved with the result as much as all of us - I think we really needed those 3 points just to get talking about the football as opposed to anything else (wot could I mean :-D )

Analogy to a troubled marriage, with lots of fighting, " why dont you leave, I cant take any more. Well, if I do youll miss me when Im gone, and things will be worse.' This man needs adulation, not boos and criticisms. He is extremely complex.

Sandy up close, what actual colour is he in real life? Autumnal gold, burnt cedar or straight up Tango orange?

I think more Tango orange, if I'm really honest
But on the other hand, and bearing in mind londonranger's comments about adulation, I'll tactically go for autumnal gold with a touch of burnt cedar thrown in around the eyes
;D

Who would he sell to? If its someone willing to pay the £20 million they've put in I presume they'll have a bit of cash

I don't think he really meant he's selling up any time soon.
I gather that there were some chanting and a few boos when the statement was read out and he came in to the Directors' Box - I was late in as I was in the Springbok till late so I missed all that!
I think that it was an emotional reaction to a rather emotional game - roller-coaster, just like our Club!
My personal interpretation was that it more "stick THAT in your pipe and smoke it" than that he really is selling up! Like you said - who would buy us?!
