Should have occurred to me earlier
Just occurred to me - So I posted on my WATRB blog (Maybe it was self-evident to others. Sorry!)
Did Pete or Someone From WATRB Contact the Club and Tell Them About THE Post?
Besides WHERE Pete Got the Information From, Also WHY did Pete Respond re Sousa?
When THE post was made re Sousa's desire for a Portugese defender, WHY did Pete response (with that internal information - "[T]he Portugal defender was wanted for £300,000 for which Sousa would have got a cut"
So how suddenly did Pete come into this information? What was the process: Did Pete contact the club and tell them about that there was this poster saying what SOusa ostensibly said: And he needed some facts to refute the claims? Or to put Sousa in a bad light?
WHat exactly was this process?
And when is Pete going to respond to the real issues instead of creating straw arguments to respond to?

Dont think he knows the real issues Mike. He may think he does. One thing I know about companies with a new project. They have an entrance strategy and an exit strategy. Im not sure which phase they are in. Im not sure that any of us knows the reason sousa left. Never believing anything is the best. Who knows. Maybe they had decided that Sousa was only to be there six months when they hired him.
The best course is watchful waiting. We are mere spectators in this play and we have no program with the story. From a fans point of view we have only music which is hard to listen to.

Mate, you have no frigging idea what has gone on.
You WOULD NOT want to be in the position that several have been put in over the last few days.
Lets just say I can give you various legal eagles phones numbers from both sides of the fence.
Trust me..you have NO bloody idea.
And at the centre of it is some bloke who hates the board and was PRO Sousa.

But of course you only know what you know (even with your ITK). You don't know for sure what's going on behind your back.
But Ok so they contacted WATRB.
Under what circumstances did Pete then get that information re Sousa and the 300,000 pounds for the Portugese player.
Besides WHO gave it to Pete (and everybody across the QPR Messageboard world are all assuming it's one certain individual). The question becomes WHEN was this information passed on to Pete. And WHY was this information passed on to Pete.
Your move!

.... So nothng to back up the bollox then? Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide You reap what you sow Those of course are seperate matters. Just re the Info Coming Out Process I think if Scott goes out on a limb and say this is how it happened, should believe him. So the club initiated - which leaves the matter of how they hell did they find out. And what does that say about club and the messageboards? Are part of your season ticket moneys going to pay for someone to surf the QPR Messageboards? (Actually that doesn't sound too bad of a job ) Also doesn't quite explain why the thread was put back up the next day. That was strange. Just curious: Was Nico involved? And if so for which side? (I know when Myu was asking about legal advice before the new site was launched I suggested to him Nico) On the other hand, the axing of Sousa over this reminded me of the Holloway Gardening Leave. The other parts of my question still apply re Pete. Which he persistently ignores.

Baz, trust me you have NO idea.
First I even realised it was an issue..not just another rumour post and nought to be worried about was when I was informed that Bernie had seen it via one of his "people", as in people employed to scour papers and the net re any damaging stories.
Now trust me..who would you not want to F with? GP, QPR, FB, The Press/SkySports or BE???
For me it was and is the latter.
The thread was never an issue until it was an issue as such.
Then, I locked it, awaiting advice.
I am unemployed and it is a fans website...I have no money to get decent (any!) legal advice and Pete was out.
From the point I thought it may be a serious issue I went against rules and deleted it.
Then after advice that it didnt actually matter as nearly 4K had read it, well, it was put back. Then later on, it was decided just to dump it.
The thread was on the official site for ages i hasted to add!
Now, and I'll say this in a court of law if PS wants me too...IMHO if this thread/post was used in anyway, shape or form to boot PS that is disgusting and blatantly part of an excuse not to pay him off.
I'll also appeal to peoples "brains".
FB to PS - theres a thread on a website from one bloke saying you said X PS to FB - Well i didnt FB and BE consult the best lawyers that money can buy and decide that a single post of he said/she said is enough to fire him?!! LOFL FB to PS - you are fired

In response to my blog post on WATRB, Pete has posted this response. In fairness: I'm not going to comment, just repost it PETE's BLOG POST RESPONDINGI did not contact anyone at the club. I even went to the sponsors night that evening and no-one in manager level spoke to me about it. I got a call from a solicitor next day directly to me. I cannot comment on those comments, but I can say he was investigating a "number" of comments made and not just on this site, but also from Paulo Sousa talking to fans about private infromation. I also heard that he told a fan that he wanted a portugeese player He has also spoke to fans night before the game and one or two apart from the poster on here from Saturday through to Tuesday. So even though you are insistent on believing that one post gets someone a sack you are wrong and your pursuit of the point raised does not help anyone. I cannot comment in detail until I find out what will be the process in all of this. Whatever you think of me, I was not instrumental in getting Paulo the sack. You carried a vote on the old board where a big percentage wanted to keep Paulo Sousa. We live in a democracy, I didn;t agree with them because i witnessed some of the worst football I can remember. That was merely my opinion. www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/blog.php?b=159

All I know is that once those comments where pointed out on here I deleted them.
I had heard rumours of said player wanted to be signed on deadline day without anyone having scouted the player so that may give credence to a story that someone wanted to sign him.
Can I also stress a few things on this thread?
I didnt want Sousa fired (yet) I hated the footy under him I hate the atmosphere at QPR I hate Flavio The dude that posted it did so after posting it on the official site and getting no response and did it to highlight what a numpty FB is I think GP has had enough I need a job I need a shave If watrbs is being used I will go mental as ive put so so so much hard work into building it Oh and I think im starting to hate Amit And lastly I aint looking forward to tomorrow, but i'll be there

... I think GP has had enough I need a job Need I point out the obvious? (I guess GP is free to quit when he wants? Is that because working for Flavio is too stressful/demanding, etc. Is he "mercurial?" Why hate Amit: Because of what he does behind the scenes? Or because of what he hasn't done? So you think in hindsight, it's a shame that we've got these owners?

Of course none of us - especially those of us over 50 (or under 18) - "chose" to be QPR supporters because we expected success or glory. If had wanted that, would have gone the Chelsea/Arsenal/Spurs - or Man Ut route of supporting. Support QPR because they are what they are (or thought they were)

Absorbing debate, although why on earth would one of Bernies people get upset about a Paulo talking about injured players ! .... Or was Paulo sacked due to not being informed about Blackstock's loan/or the fee being discussed openly -
Maybe - a post by a fan - copied from the official site to WATRB's but responded by Pete with a $300 k quote.
Something is not making sense....unless the ' player cut ' part of it is abit too close to Paladini's doorstep.

You mean Im supposed to believe that Paladini and the qpr brass sit around reading WATRB. Come on mate, what other fantastic claims are you going to make.
Can see the mornings at breakfast; Hey are you finished with the Times, no but hears the Mirror and the morning Watrb printout.

It's called google alert! no need to sit just punch in the key words and wait i.e. QPR, Flavio etc etc, though the spelling is so bad on WATRBs that I'm amazed anything is picked up. ;D

Except I wonder how long after the post went up, came the club contact: The Red Phone rings....The siren goes off throughout Loftus Road and then: Bring in the lawyers (Of course you might hope that the club would also be looking at its own Official Site messageboard!)

Given all of the above, it makes even less rational sense to say as Pete seems to be saying: That it wasn't the post on the messageboard; it was more than that.
Well sure it was more than that, in the sense that if the reports in the press (Source?) that he was on his way. And all those messageboard posts. But the club announced he was being axed for a specific reason. The club responded to the WATRB post as Scott and Pete describe. So it certainly appears that it was THAT post that gave them the tool to do the job.
