Thank you LGM.
Although there were fatalities and casualties, it was small feed compared with what our brethren in the Christchurch area went through last year.

OK folks, I put this idea out there a while back. Now we have the fixtures for the season I added them in too. The main event on the Rs schedule appears to be the Chelsea home game, but there's nothing else but an MLS game in town (pending the NHL schedule). It would be a great match-up with plenty of Chelsea fans everywhere so The Globe Pub will be full of them. The only other game I think would be worth watching in this context would be the Everton away. I saw a few Everton fans in there when I watched the Forest game at the pub earlier this year. Wigan and Wolves won't have much of a following, Villa might have a few.
So who's up for a trip to Chicago in October?
Sat Aug 20 Everton v QPR 3.10pm MLB Cubs v St Louis Cardinals 6.10pm MLB White Sox v Texas Rangers Sun Aug 21 1.10pm MLB White Sox v Texas Rangers 7.00pm MLS Fire v Toronto FC TBD .. MLB Cubs v St Louis Cardinals
Sat Aug 27 Wigan v QPR 8.30pm MLS Fire v Colorado Rapids
Sat Sep 17 Wolves v QPR 4.00pm MLS Fire v Chivas USA TBD .. MLB Cubs v Houston Astros Sun Sep 18 1.20pm MLB Cubs v Houston Astros
Sat Sep 24 QPR v Aston Villa 6.10pm MLB White Sox v Kansas City Royals Sun Sep 25 1.10pm MLB White Sox v Kansas City Royals 3.15pm NFL Bears v Green Bay Packers 4.00pm MLS Fire v New England Revolution
Sat Oct 22 QPR v Chelsea 8.30pm MLS Fire v Columbus Crew
NHL schedule released late June (will only affect the Oct 22 date)

Sadly no... I tried a couple of times to build one, but didn't get many responses.
I DO know based on my blog & messageboard stats, that there are a whole bunch of people from the USA who visit my sites.
(And of course, I've seen various other posters from the USA, posting on the various other QPR boards)
But what I can do is if/when something becomes definite to post that on the blog and board (and onto NewsNow) with maybe a contact email if someone wants to provide

This is Winnipeg calling. Nice to see so many R's fans over here. I think I'm the only one in Winnipeg, but Chicago isn't TOO far, at least not by NA standards. We are going to need a big support group for the upcoming season - most promoted teams try to BUY good players, not SELL their best ones.
I try to get over there around once per year, although I made it over twice last year in recognition of a fantastic season (for Middlesbrough (H), Leicester (A), Leicester (H), Millwall (A), Palace (H)). Not sure about this season though - no "feel good" factor whatsoever.

Hi... live 30 miles from Austin Texas.... still got my LoftUSA shirts from the old LSA . Been an expat for 25 years but still try and listen to every game... and watch whenever we are on Fox. Used to be a regular standing in the old Loft back in the days of Rodnee and then Stan.... saw many good days and lots of bad days travelling to some far flung 3rd division ground! Despite all the gloom and doom out there I'm looking forward to the premier season and being able to see the mighty R's on TV ..... Speak to you all on match days.... URRRRRSssssssssssss

Beat train, may have met you in Graftons (closed) or gingers. Not crazy about pub atmosphere here nor
food. For years a mix of us went to Abbey when they had a dish. Dunno if they still do football. guiness for breakfast didnt suit me well. But a dearth of anything than Prem fans and our football
was dire I couldnt stand to watch it. Now our games will be on Fox, but if its one can see at home, 2 have to go to pub. Probbly 2nd half cos I like to sleep in on Sat. and if we are a total embarassment stay home. Have taken enough stick from ManU fans here over the years in Pubs.
graftons.

One of my kids was drinking with a visitor from Texas last year.

I'm in a small town about 70miles north of Toronto called Orillia. And i also drive a car with qpr fc as my number plate.Whats your plate say, qprcanada. I thought I was the only one around here & I finally found out why I couldn't get QPR FC for my licence plate; was also turned down for QPR FCUK as "it looked rude" I worked in Orillia for 3.5 years when I first moved over here almost 6 years ago; now living 40 kms away in Victoria Harbour. I was at The Orillia Fall Fair a few weeks back wearing my Rs shirt. qprcanada, is that Simon?
