San Diego, CA - though I will be moving to the Bush very soon to be with my fiance, a born and raised Sheperd's Bush girl and QPR follower. To be honest, I am quite new to supporting 'em. I was at Swansea on Boxing Day and on the pitch for the celebration! xCharlie

Welcome to the site. I've noticed quite a few american continent members joining in the last few days. Quite heartening to know the r's have a strong following. Again a warm welcome.

Hey welcome aboard all you American continent based fans, a lot of new names sprouting up and this is good. It's good that you all find out about each other. There used to be a USA LSA run by Frank Duchoisis but he's been kinda busy with his running etc. comes on here occassionally. Will PM him to find out what happened to the QPR LSA, they did a run of some excellent Tee Shirts with 3/4 sleeves. still got mine as i wanted to support Frank and his efforts so bought two of them. Sadly the website went away. I have appropriated the logo as in my signature here. I'm in New York and have been a Club supporter since 1979.

Live Northampton/work in Springfield. 1980...seems like yesterday! Dont get to see the Revs live as much as I would like, due to work. Going with my sons to a game mid June and of course will be sporting the Hoops. We are spoilt by having every Revs game on the box though. (looking forward to the MLS thread on this board this summer, as long as it is not deemed to be too far off topic) Arlo Guthrie.....sorry, no. I would like to lie and say that I met Woody Guthrie, but I would have to be 95 years old for that (David Webb yes though) gone native? that would be accurate after 30 years here. BTW...Milton is a really great town...great choice mate. Back at you with the same questions. Cheers.

Annoyingly, I will be in the UK when Port Vale are over here on the island. It'd have been great to see the team that humbled the mighty Rs this season. I am in no way affiliated with the company, but earlier in the thread I alluded to a program called ExpatShield (http://expatshield.com/).
It is a PC-only bit of software that makes the Internet think you are based in the UK. Great for watching The Football League Show (although that won't be necessary for at least a season), watching Match of the Day 2 (on BBC iPlayer) and listening to live football commentary. It has a couple of downers, like opening a web page for advertising purposes every couple of clicks, but the advantages far outweigh the downside.
cheers,

Would love to have a QPR LSA for our neck of the woods... Did float the idea for a while after Franks site and after meeting a few of you when we had a great time in Chicago..

Northampton...not only one of my preferred lesbian communities, also the place where some ten years or so ago I braked for a mother bear and her two cubs crossing the street. 1980, oh another long term inmate. Attended first ever Revs match, with Boston jnr in tow, was an s/t holder for many years until finally becoming sick to the back teeth of the Krafts three seasons ago. Now, only attend the occasional fixture, let me know which match you'll go to, I'll wear my colours....Crips. Arlo...y'see when you said west - I thought you meant Berkshires. Native? I changed my accent as well. Sound like Prince Charles these days....it's good for business. Milton, yes a very nice place to live, urban yet suburban, the Gov lives two minutes walk away, right big 'ead! Work in Cambridge, a very interesting place, think I might move there when the youngest flies the coop...but she's only thirteen, so. You wouldn't be a well developed, bespectacled white haired gent by any chance? Few other Rangers around as it happens, one about ten mins walk from my from door, one in Walpole, another on Nantucket, Then Quincy...bumped into a few. Among my colleagues I employ a Palace fan, from Norwood, an Ilford Hammer and sometimes...a Chelsea man, from who cares.

The black bears are roaming the town, as usual in May. Got some great pics from my back yard just last week. "Crips"....great, like that. Also..."from who cares"(Ch......ea, mindless, despicable rabble, but other than than that, no opinion on them really. dont get me started). I am pretty sure the Revs game is the 18th of June against Chicago. (mods.....is this all outside of the Board's scope and need to be scrapped or worthy of another thread?) Cheers

The twister did most of its damage about a half mile from our Springfield office. A fellow I was chatting with yesterday was in a building that was destroyed. He came out and his untouched car was amidst 3 large downed trees. When I said that he caught a break, he replied "no, I wanted that piece of s---t crushed!"
