Anyone know where THIS little gem has come from? It is supposed to be on the messageboards but I haven't seen anything of the like. The person who informed me usually frequents WATRB - but is away on holiday at the moment and texted me from his holiday destination. When I asked him where he'd heard the rumour that Vine was to be sold - he just said - on the message boards!

I've seen a couple people saying it on the other boards - but not from knowledge; just from guessing cos Vine spoke out. But I havent really "researched" and not on WATRB

In other words - there's nothing more the fans who love to moan have got to moan about - so they are moaning about Vine being sold!
Cheers guys :-D

I think what is happening is that because Sousa allegedly said something about the club and lost his job, that as Vine has said comments about Dexters move to forest, that he too could be in the firing line so to speak.
I think there was some dark and dry humour used in the rumour. Considering the comedy going on at Loftus Road at the moment a touch of dark humour wouldn't go amiss.

I just read someone on a QPR messageboard asking whether it was true that Vine was being sold?

But Vine could be the enemy of King Herod. Remember its good Friday. Vine has delivered some Wrath against the King.

Do not be surprised at what players of whatever reputation are leaving QPR. The cost cutting purge is not over by a long way,and all the playing staff whoever they are vulnerable.
It seems that spending the equity that was left in the ground was easy, that was only the clubs debt, covered by the charge on Loftus Road.
That must be almost gone, or indeed all gone. Any new spending may down to the directors to secure and the attitude is completely different. The number of redundancies in quite junior positions is alarming. Players for sale? It's One big car boot sale
Not the same spending your own money is it.

No truth in this what-so-ever! Scott this is not a pop at you but can I just ask how you are so certain that there is 'No truth in this what-so-ever!'. Its just that the comment you make suggests you have definitive information on this and therefore someone at the club has offered that definitive information. If it's just your opinion then fine but I think it's statements like this that cause 99% of grief for our club. WATRB's site was founded on these types of 'in the know' comments and now look what they are allowing to remain posted. Nothing allowed on players etc. It would beggar belief if it wasn't for our current shambles. Getting back to another point you made yesterday regarding WATRB being the most popular site. I don't doubt it for a second and it also has my eldest sons seal of approval, who tells me every day what a good site it is for the forum and other things on the site, but being most popular does not always make it best. The Sun is the most popular daily paper but I have never bought or read it, by some genetic quirk, I also know my eldest son does buy and read it

You know Bill. I preferred the old officvial MB. Dodgy and I had it under control and now I hear it's like Romper Room, having not visited it since December 2007, I am trusting other peoples comments. Hardest day of my life was controlling the Big Brawl of China threads.
Between this site and Ade's I have a found a balance but it;s still noi the same since PTV screwed us all over.
We used to be able to trust information coming out of Loftus Ropad, now it appears to be on par with NOTW.

in fairness though i beleive the italian way of doing buisness is to make up a load of rumours to keep the other guesssing ill give you a for instance i went with gianni for a drink in a pub in hammersmith and he carefully listened to me pleadeing for ius to buy gary hooper from sc**thorpe and other fans pleading to buy every tallented striker in the country and gianni said these words I WILL BUY THE FINEST MIDFIELD PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY HES NOW AT PALACE HIS NAME IS ............ pete put up that name in his website the very next day soon the papers were involved and it went on for three months BUT GIANNI PROBABLEY HAD NO INTENSION OF BUYING THE PLAYER HE WAS JUST PLAYING CAT AND MOUSE so thers an example of the italian way of doing buisness its clever its naughty every trick in the book but if its succeeds then im very happy at the end of the day
