We only need 5 points from 7 games to be on par for 40 pts at season end ! We should have a stronger team second part aswell . I base all my stats this year if we get 11 wins we stay up , we have 4 , if we get two more before 31st December , we only need 5 all next year . The draws will come along on there own , they always do . LAST YEAR RELEGATED TEAMS WINS BIRMINGHAM 8 BLACKPOOL 10 WHU 7
09-10 BURNLEY 8 HULL 6 POMPEY7
08-09 NEWCASTLE 7 BORO 7 WBA 8
07-08 READING 10 BIRMINGHAM 8 DERBY 1
06-07 SHEEF U 10 CHARLTON 8 WATFORD 5
05-06 BIRMINGHAM 8 WBA 7 SUNDERLAND 3
04-05 PALACE 7 NORWICH 7 SAINTS 6
I'll go back to 1993 if you like bowles but no team has ever gone down winning 11 games in prem history only Palace the very first year but that dont count as it was the 42 game season
Average time span for a Championship winning team since prem began 3.90 seasons ! i want my 3.90 seasons

Not that it means anything, but statto.com are predisting 8 teams with fewer points than us this season: www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2011-2012And we have more points at this stage than any of the teams that went down last year: www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2010-2011/table/2010-11-10No dont think we are clutching fraser if we can win one of our next 2 games we are in a fantastic position one that i never thought in August. But as we know in this league we could lose two games and then face liverpool and Manu so im not counting anything yet just pleased with start , thanks for the link ! OHHHHH 2 to go . Clutching at straws? Sure, but onwards and upwards!

Snap another one here born in that great year 1965..I know what you mean about enjoying it more this time round.((Apart from me being round the other side of the world this time )) Its maybe that the Prem is MASSIVE now whereas last time it was in its infancy. This time there seems to be little victories even if we dont win__Like how we played against Citeh a team that cost millions to assemble and are a class side and we couldve won let alone lose.Even when we got tonked against Foolem the way our fans performed even when 6 nil down another little victory. Then the biggest victory of all beating them mouthy chavvy c***s from down the road.To think we are taking part in (we maybe even kicked it off) the implosion that is happening down Stamford Bridge is brilliant.. ;D ;D ;D 17th place remember thats all we need ...

Wow I am shocked about that stat that we have more points than any of last season's relegated teams. I thought Blackpool's "flyer" lasted longer than that. We *are* doing well! I think all 3 promoted teams will stay up, although Swansea are the weakest of the three.

And I was there in 1983 when we won Division 2 and watched a few games in the 80s in the top flight, but it really is that much more special this year. Maybe after waiting so long for it.

Back to last year's 12 game table. A remarkable parallel between Blackpool and our home and away stats. Only one home win but three away wins, home record close to relegation level, away record close to CL level.

Yes nobody apart from the top 6 has won more than 3 away games , we have even won more than Arsenal , if we can just get our home form tweaked a little will be great , hopefully we can add that second home win against WBA and if really greedy a third against Sunderland .

imagine if we had found our feet like we have now against villa and the geordies, we would be four points better off as well and had even more wins. cos we played great in both them games as well.

What about us middle aged fans born in 1965 ! GREAT TO BE BACK ! Come on harles only born in 1965, only a youngster. I was born in 1940. Never been to the UK, but after the event of that new fangled thing called television, I watched on my parents 12inch B&W tele on the ABC, a programme called Match of the Day hosted by Brian Moore. So taken by the game I decided to become attached to a club, but not one of the giants. AS fate would have it QPR. I have given my soul to the club ever since, and for a time was a paid up member. Come on you RRRRSSS.

What about us middle aged fans born in 1965 ! GREAT TO BE BACK ! Or 66! In July everybody was talking about how lousy we would be how we would break Derby's record for lowest points not one person said we'll beat beat Chelsea, Everton and Stoke. Not one. Nobody had any faith in this team whatsoever. Now we are ninth, and everyone wants us to beat Manchester United and Liverpool. Except for their own fans. Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, Everton, everybody wants us to take points. QPR have become a very popular team, my Stoke buddy refuses to pick up the phone, hahaha!

Unlike Blue I did spend time in the London, 1988-1991 and lived in the lights of Loftus Rd going to games with the likes of Paul Parker playing for the RRRsss and England.
In the intervening years kept up wil QPR mostly through the BBC World Service's Saturday Sports program. No commentary just results.
With the advent of the web finally able to follow the games live and now that we are Prem on Fox Sports or web streaming and I'm loving it.
Having said all that I would love to be at Loftus Road again cheering the lads on.
Come on you RRRRRssssssss.......!!!!!
