For Briatore et al: They want the club in the Premiership; they want sponsorship. And the Stadium filled with paying spectators.
But do they care who's filling the seats?
It's like a store/company: They just want to sell their merchandise. They don't care if x buys the clothing or the car or if it's y.
For QPR fans, QPR is more aking to a religion or political affiliation or family. So QPR are not a product. We can't just switch from QPR to Chelsea like you could switch from Toyota to Ford. And we're not just "consumers" of the QPR product (project). We view ourselves as integral part of that enterprise. The fans are as much QPR as the owners or the players or the manager. (Actually far more so.) And the owners of QPR are more like trustees..

In my eye it looks more so.
I pointed this out recently but aren't we all - at the end of the day - an employee of a corporation, ie government ! in QPR's case - it's a fashion for employee's.
It's getting tiring.

We can't just switch from QPR to Chelsea like you could switch from Toyota to Ford. You can't. But there are people in Singapore (or Lithuania) who can. And that's his, to quote Weavie, Ultimate Dream.
