It's really, really weird... Don't understand it in the slightest. Do we have any right of recall during this 93 days? And the bs about him not figuring: Well he was suspended for three games... . At times like this, I guess I'm forced to say: Damn you Gianni! Clint is an immortal, hard as arseholes and Derry's mate. Poor decision as far as I'm concerned. I'll wait for Colin's explanation first though obviously. Agree , Agree and hope we get an explanation , seems very very strange.

Am I the only one not that bothered about this???
He was brilliant for us last year but I don't think he is good enough for the Prem.

Understand what?? Neil probably prefers to get a youth team player through. It's only an emergency loan.

Probably his own choice when he signed i remember him saying he was going back to his native north but the chance to work with warnock swayed him. Maybe now he realises he won't play regular those thoughts have returned although why warnock puts connolly on the bench ahead of him is beyond me yeh i know matty can play several positions but the words jack of all trades master of none come to mind

But I think if you're home grown under certain age, you are already eligible without being in the 25. So if I'm right, that doesnt explain Hill

So if I'm right, that doesnt explain Hill We have enough cover in that area and it is only a short term loan deal. I don't really see what the big deal is. Orr could play there, Connolly and Harriman also could.

Probably because like Derry , Tarbs ,Kenny and a couple of others Hill played nearly every game last year and what he dont give you in ability he can make up in passion and grit. On a personal level i would rather keep Hill in the 25 until Jan , but if theres an instant release clause in there(loan deal) or he wanted to play games week in week out in this time of his career then its not a big deal i suppose and you have to admire him .

Dave McIntyre QPR and Forest agree Hill loan deal 20/09/2011 QPR have agreed to let Clint Hill join Nottingham Forest on a three-month loan deal. The reliable defender was a mainstay of Rangers’ promotion-winning side but the recent signing of Luke Young meant his first-team chances were likely to be limited. Forest are set to sign him as cover for the injured Chris Cohen and he is expected to make his debut for them against Watford on Saturday. R’s boss Neil Warnock prefers to play with a dynamic full-back on one side and a steady player on the other, so the arrival of solid right-back Young meant the signing of an attack-minded alternative to Hill was a priority. Armand Traore was duly transferred from Arsenal and has impressed with his swashbuckling performances against Newcastle and Wolves. Young, Matt Connolly and Danny Gabbidon can all play at left-back if required, so Warnock is prepared to let Hill – who followed him from Crystal Palace to QPR last year – leave Loftus Road. After Rangers’ Championship triumph gave Hill the chance to play in the Premier League at the age of 32, his first and only appearance in the top flight was an unhappy one. He was sent off after lashing out at Martin Petrov during the opening-day 4-0 defeat against Bolton and Warnock’s pre-deadline signings meant Hill had dropped down the pecking order by the time he had served a three-match ban. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qprs-hill-agrees-loan-move-to-forest/

Maybe it makes room for a striker on loan?
Don't see much point in adding Hogan to the 25 - Puncheon has filled the slot - got enough midfielders to cover now really.

so connolly is our cover for left back now?? Yes, and if so many don't rate Connolly (unlike me) why are we getting rid of Hill? Traore has gone off once, why take the risk?

If he/the club don't do it before then, I imagine Warnock will explain the decision in his next weekly column

Why does Warnock need to explain his decision?
Hill is like the rest of our Championship winning defence, not good enough for this level. That's why none of them are starters.
Hill has no pace and has mileage on the clock. Connolly at least is younger and quicker, plus Dyer can fill in that role, if he ever comes back.
Unfortunately, you cannot afford to be sentimental to players who got you promoted but are clearly out of their depth at this level.
Fortunately though, we have a manager who understands this and is not afraid to make the brave decisions, no matter how unpopular they may be.

Well he doesn't "need" to...But it would be nice, interesting. And no reason not to...
Maybe Clint Hill is not "the answer." But then why not make this decision before naming him to the 25 man squad. (If I'm right, we can't add to that list, so how we're advantaged?) Isn't having Hill in the squad better than nothing? Don't know what injuries going to get.

It's a 93 day emergency loan, if we get injuries to Traore, Orr, Connolly and Harriman in that time we can call him back.

The full-back hasn't featured for Rangers since being red-carded in the opening-day defeat against Bolton Wanderers, and has fallen down the pecking order following the signing of Armand Traore. With the versatile Matt Connolly able to provide cover, Hill has been allowed to leave Loftus Road for the Championship club. He posted on his Twitter account: “Thanks everyone gutted to be leaving Qpr what a great club with awesome fans gonna miss it. But really excited about going to forest.”
