Until I received an E Mail offering me membership this season for only £40, I had stupidly assumed that this was included in the price of the season ticket (as it has been in previous seasons).
With regret I have decided not to accept the invitation.
Does this mean that Loftus Road is no longer members only? If it is will I be allowed access to the seat I have paid £759 for?
Below is a copy of my reply to the box office.
Thank you for your kind offer. Last season I paid £23.43 per match for my season ticket and this included membership (£539 early bird in gold). This season I have paid £39.95 per match for my season ticket (£759 in gold) and apparently this does not include membership. This is a markup of 70.5% Now I am being offered the chance to pay an extra £40 which would increase the cost per match to £42.05. A markup of 79.5. I will let you guess as to whether I wish to accept! My season ticket renewal form included my telephone number (also known by Joe Kyle). Perhaps someone would like to give me a call to ask my opinion of the board of director's and of the club's audacity to ask me for more money! Thank you for your kind offer. Terry Brown
