If the owners wanted him gone, he'd have to leave. But I don't think he'll voluntarily leave any time soon (short of a Face-saving "resignation" which is in reality an axe)
But SHOULD he leave? I don't think there's any doubt

Is there any suggestion that the Mittals wanted Paladini out following the FA situation and found they didn't have the support in the Boardroom to facilitate it? That rumour is flying around but I have no idea if true.

Why is everybody up in arms now ? Nothing has changed at all. The same shitbags still own and run the club as they did before. The only difference is they are coming back out of the closet.
My question is - How can you support a club that is owned and run by people you probably wouldn't invite into your house.
QPR isn't and hasn't been "our" club since this gang took over. The only function they see for the fans is " cash cows ". Sorry, not for me.

Few away games for me next season if that, not in to football like I was ten years ago, dont aspire to be part of the Premiership circus, & certainly dont admire English Football & what its become, not for me either. Shame because QPR is / was a nice club, but so are / were a lot of clubs. Not for me.

I for one will continue to support them, as I think the club is bigger than just the owners/chairmen.
i think the players need us right now, and have done wonders for this club.
however i am one of the "lucky" ones who live abroad, and therefore have no right to complain about ticket prices anyway.
i will still follow them. still wear my shirt with pride. still post on the forum. and still moan at how we're run, lol.

I would rather invite the Moores murderers around to my place before I ever considered inviting these three cretins.

Expecting a hostile reception, my betting is that at the first home game, Bernie, Flav and Gianni, will come in disguise. No trouble picking them out, as they will be dressed as clowns. ;D

Strange they still haven't updated the Directory. Usually they do it the minute the manager/or the board changes So as of now still says Contacts QPR Holdings Limited Chairman / Managing Director - Ishan Saksena QPR Holdings Limited Vice-Chairman - Amit Bhatia QPR FC Chairman - Gianni Paladini Stadium Director - John MacDonald Finance Director - Rebecca Caplehorn www.qpr.co.uk/page/StaffDirectory/0,,10373,00.html * Unless they're waiting till Paladini also "departs" and so don't have to duplicate efforts! A shame we the supporters have been dragged into a tug of war for ownership. The Mittals will be hoping we are bottom three in 2011 so they can bargain down Bernies price and better still come in and save the day - don't get me wrong... I would much rather have them at the club than the evil trio currently at the helm, but I do question how much of this is rhetoric and how much is honest.
Roll on August... Warnock at the helm, a few quality additions to the squad and the boardroom madness can disappear into background where it belongs!
Keep the faith in your club guys... pride in the shirt for what happens on the pitch, as it always has been and always should be. Can't wait to see Tarbs terrorise the Prem! U Rs!

It,s about time the Indians beat the Paleface and took a few scalps.
Wise words from another Indian, Redcloud, but could have easily been Amit. "They made many promises, more than I can remember, but they kept only one, they promised to keep our club and they did."

The ability of the club to make life difficult for itself is unbelievable. We should be looking forward to seeing who the new signings are, not fretting about the ludicrous Board room.
Anyway, this stuff about season ticket prices and strategy is a red herring. The Mittal family made a play for the club and failed. Their executives had no choice but to go. Would be the same at any company, not least at one run by someone as shrewd as Bernie.

Would be the same at any company, not least at one run by someone as shrewd as Bernie. Whilst it's standard practice for board members to logically resign after a failed takeover attempt, it's not uncommon for them to retain their shares and launch subsequent takeovers from outside the boardroom so it remains very much a possibility that this is strategy and therefore it would be too presumptuous to dismiss that possibility as a red herring in my opinion.

Well of course, they are protecting their investment. That means, in my mind, that Briatore is a hidden partner in Ecclestones
investment. The sudden inflow of Premier gold has them in rapture. Note that Mittal did not put his 33% up for sale.
Remember, the money goes to the ownership, not to the club which will still have the debt. The Amulya loan payoff will be
interessting. will they increase the debt? Not pay it?. Thats the next performance that will re-start the circus.
Now Briatore and Ecclestone need Paladini. to do as they say, as he was always a williing Lackey, but they need hi him for more important reasons. Money movements and access to the world of money they like. Then if things go wrong
they have a scapegoat. They will drop him in an instant if they need to. They want us to look like a top class team with
international names and world recognised players. It will cost a ton, but we know, its not their money. When thay can
sell at a big profit, they will. We wont see anymore Ledesmas and Albertis. I also dont think that Warnock will fit into
their plans. still for them to dump him would cause riots around the bush. They wont risk that, but I doubt if they will
re-sign Taraabt, nor will he want to with all the turmoil imo. Still, if he doesnt, that may make Warnock resign, may, not will
Warnock could also be used as a scapegoat and let go if things dont go well, or his troub le with Paladini is not supported
as it was with Amit and Sak. I see Ecclestone as moving more toward the Italian wing.
the good thing is, if they start to see their investment failing they will both be gone. Then we will see who the new owners are? Lets hope we can invite them to our houses, as Grumpy said.
