Looking at that :
Bronze ticket : £549
Saving on Matchday price : £346
Total Price would then be : £895
So matchday price works out at : £47...............

That's for renewals. Expect a bigger hike for newbies and walk ups.
I think people will pay but expect empty seats for many games and a toxic atmosphere if results don't go our way. Our home crowd should be an advantage this season but I fear it may well work against us. Think season before last times 10. Rightly or wrongly the mood changes when it's costing an arm and a leg and the team are perceived to be playing badly. That atmosphere also rubs off on to the team and manager creating a vicious circle. Get stuffed at home to a Bolton/Blackburn surrounded by empty seats when it's live on SKY and there'll be booing, £60 seats thrown on the pitch and the revolving door on the manager's office will spin like a top.
I have no problem with the club maximising revenue but this is short term thinking in the extreme. Unless of course the money will help clear our debt, build an academy, refurbish the ground or build a new stand....Naah didn't fink so. More like it will have pay the huge fine, legal costs and the directors million pound bonuses.
We'll probably finish the season with twice the debt, no improvement to our infrastructure whilst alienating a sizable section of our support which could cost us for years to come.
Only at QPR...

What a bargain How much was bronze last season for 23 home matches? £450? What concerns me in paying is the £10 matches on the day to see us play Stoke & wigan?

I'm confused, as Zed says, are they ST renewal prices only? I see no mention of early bird discount. Are there completely different prices for newbies? What prices are the match day tickets ffs!!! Only the family section prices says renewals only, not the others, bloody poor show. Bronze prices are a joke but there is also no stadium plan that I can see. To the best of my knowledge, off the top of my head, H and Q are bronze, any others? Is JU silver or gold, it was spposed to be silver last season but they charged gold prices for it. Is X block silver, I think it is? Total dileman and this botch job doesn't help!!!!!!

With the extra revenue the club will get from Satellite, Sponsorships gate receipts and merchandise. The new prices are an absolute p*ss take. Thanks for nothing.

Looking at the renewal form i worked out Silver matchday tickets will be £52.00 Sorry but in my eyes thats a disgraceful price. If it was viable me buying a season ticket i would but due to work commitments its just not worth it. Looking around other boards people seem quite ok with the prices. I think i must be turning into a grumpy old man as i think they are shocking

We're going to get around 40 million pounds from all this other stuff....
SO unless the club spends a Lot in transfer fees (which I doubt), someone is going to do very well from this.

Platinum ST holders should also be aware:
"Please note, in order to meet Premier League requirements and due to the limited space available within the stadium, it has become necessary for us to turn the Platinum Bar into a new Press Room ahead of the start of the new season. We have explored the possibility of another location within the stadium, but unfortunately we are unable to offer an alternative facility at this time.
Any Platinum Season Ticket Holders that wish to move seats due to these changes will be offered first option on any Gold Seats that are available in the stadium. "

Maybe they will start their own Season ticket loan company. Get your loan account at 20%interest and they will extract the money for you. The ethic of Corporatism updated. Make a splash, steal your cash.

Unfortunately when some are constantly peddling the line that if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a club, The board will expect unconditional gratefulness, whatever they do.

Beyond your hopes/fears - How do these price increases compare to what you genuinely felt (regardless of whether you approved/disapproved) would be the new prices?

I HATE our club, its run by moron's of the highest order, in the last few weeks we have had the FA investigation, the snub of the open top bus parade, and now this ST debacle.
We are £20 fans, they treat us like utter shit, and they will continue to do so. Unfortunately they know full well that 95% will renew, and the 5% that don't because they are so angry with the situation - will, ultimately just miss out, as other fans will snap the seats up.
It doesn't matter how much the fans kick off, the club will still sell out the ST's.
Like your family, you cant pick and choose your team, and they take advantage of that.
