but we all thought when they left Paldin o despite all the changes, that a bunch of rubbish would emerge again. The sewage pressure always finds an outlet.
When these two mountebanks took over club, from, china syndrome to Dowiegate to Crashgate, to Colgate?, to DeSousa, to Sousa, to Blackstock to Camp to Watrford punch up to Flav leaving and coming, to kok upped trades, to letting Walker go, that even tho we were wininning and winning, in back of mind allways that fear they would do something at least I did, My prediction for this year was 11th and Ill tell you mates, that was the exact reason. Still even if we are promoted the stench of this crowd doesnt go away and will be forever part of our name calling and derision.
Unless we fumigate IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

Even if the hearing in terms of taking evidence has been completed and even if the panel know in their minds what the verdicts are on each count, writing up the judgement will take time as it will be the detail of the judgement upon which any challenge would be mounted. I suspect this is where the legal people will have to really work carefully to set out why they consider a particular charge is proven or not proven, what evidence they accepted, what they rejected and the weight of the evidence. whatever the outcome, be it in favour of the club or not on each allegation they will want to make sure that the written judgement is as carefully crafted as it can be. Whether or not this is something that can be crafted in a matter of hours I have no idea but presumably will be a big factor in determining when the verdict is known. This really is killingwhat should have been a great week and whilst on the limited information (as opposed to speculation) the process seems to have been cumbersome and poorly managed, the club has clearly acted in a way that provoked suspicion in the minds of the FA regulators. Whatever the outcome, I would hope that there is at least transparency as to what this suspicion was, what was found and why we ended up in this terrible situation. I think every supporter has a right to a full and detailed explanation when this affair is concluded. The voice of reason - great post

But to be fair, on occasion, our Ex-QPR Report Moderator is ITK. The trick is knowing when...and how much, etc.

One of the punishments might be a round the pole for Paladini, facing a penalty from scottjones, followed by a public wedgie and flogging.

Well, a transfer embargo would be great for our players who would get a shot at PL, but would also be a sure way down to the Championship again. On the other hand, our finances would probably do well from that...

Share Article| Submit Comments | Comments (1) | Printable Version Previous | Next Close Map Ex-professional footballer turned sports lawyer, Colin Murdock An international soccer player turned trainee solicitor, a barrister and a GP from Manchester have been appointed to the new National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) for sport.
Ex-professional footballer Colin Murdock is one of 20 arbitrators to join the independent body set up to rule on anti-doping cases.
Mr Murdock, who started his career at Manchester United before moving to clubs including Preston North End, Crewe Alexandra and Accrington Stanley, is a trainee solicitor at Manchester firm George Davies and will qualify later this year.
He joins barrister David Casement QC and Dr Barry O'Driscoll on the NADP, which is appointed by firm SportResolutions(UK).
Mr Casement is a member of Kings Chambers and is a specialist in company and insolvency law, as well as commercial litigation and banking. He is also a part-time judge.
Dr O'Driscoll, a former Irish rugby player, is now a GP at Openshaw-based practice Florence House Medical.
The panel is made up of 12 legally-qualified members and eight specialist members, from a mix of medical, scientific and athletics backgrounds.
Mr Murdock said: โThe panel configuration has allowed for people from different backgrounds to be appointed as specialist members.
โThis has included ex-professionals from the sports arena as well as people from the worlds of medicine and science.
โI am really pleased with my appointment as it allows me to use my sporting knowledge on the regulatory side and continues my involvement in sport.โ
The NADP is the independent hearing body, set up through the UK's National Anti-Doping Policy, and gets its jurisdiction from the UK Anti-Doping Rules.
They have been adopted by the governing bodies of most sports.
Mr Murdock had a 17-year career as a professional footballer, making 400 appearances, as well as winning 34 caps for Northern Ireland.
He also sits as an expert panel member of the FA Judicial Panel and is a member of the FA Agents Panel List and the FA Chairman's List.
In 2008, he signed for Accrington, where he ended his career at the end of the 2008/09 season.
Dr O'Driscoll has been a member of the International Rugby Board Anti-Doping Committee since 1999.
Mr Casement was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2008 and has acted in a series of high-profile sports disputes for clubs, agents and players.

I remember Murdock as a player, probably at Preston. Not bad not a bit limited. Like many of us, I have tried not to look at the messageboard as the whole hearing thing was doing my head in but now I feel I can finally raise my head above the parapet. I have a confession to make though, my wife has been telling me for weeks that we were all getting worried about nothing and QPR would not be docked points. Starting to feel she might well be right so may have to ask her who we should buy for next season! Won't be there tomorrow but will be in spirit and will be glued to the tv. Looking forward to the celebrations more than the match really but just wanted to say all on this site have kept the faith remarkably well and for those lucky enough to have tickets for tomorrow, have a few on me and enjoy. UP THE R'S
