They may be able to grab back Our Championship Trophy...But let them try and recoup the individual medals from the players "I Lost it Gov...I know I put it somewhere" ha ha ha it takes a brave man to get that winners medal back from Agyemang!

mark palios seems to talk without knowing any facts. i know he is a knowledgable man and well respected but he was just giving an interview on talksport and basically condemmed us to a playoff place but didnt actually discuss or mention any of the facts regarding the case. (and im aware that facts are hard to find and a lot of speculation has been made but u know wat i mean)
just my opinion so dont shoot me down but im pretty dissapointed that such a respected figure has been so daming of the case

He admitted to not knowing the facts - and clearly said IF found guilty then he would expect a 10-15 point deduction. I don't feel he was damming the case, just answering the questions thrown at him.
Unfortunately no one other than the people in that room will be able to give any actual facts.

Or anything to do about us apparently making a lot of things transparent with the whole signing. for someone of his previous position his opinion will be listened to by a lot of people. anyway im probably just letting Richard Keys get to me (as per usual) and venting my frustration thru the means of a forum.

Just back from stadium and had a chat with Bryan Swanson who is the sky reporter who's been outside all week.
I asked why he was still there if the hearing was over and he confirmed that they had stopped hearing evidence but the deliberations were ongoing and he had a hunch that they might sneak out a statement tonight. He said that the whole thing was so cloak and dagger that they don't really know who is on the panel and anyone who says they do is speculating (he's seen no sign of Dein or Shearer)
He thought that there were huge implications for the panel not deciding before the final games and that it was likely that any decision would be challenged by someone. He also said that the Premiership would be furious if the FA tried to apply a point deduction that applied to next season.
I spent a lot of time telling him how upsetting it was to fans that we seem to have had our celebration stolen from us and how many of us had put up with 15 years of crap to have this moment stolen was criminal.
I also said that if they got rid of Paladini that would be great (that one was for you Mike).

Either way we're screwed tomorrow!
Denied automotic promotion, we'll be depressed tomorrow...
Be acknowledged as Champions, we (and the players) Will have too much of a hangover!
No doubt even if cleared on every point, this has been tarnished.

But if I was the FA, it's probably safer to clear us on most things than convict us. Cos conviction will lead to appeals and who knows what. Whereas clearing us, may lead others to kvetch and scoff, but don't see how there's any legal problem for them.

but its an independent commission mac, so these guys dont care if the FA are sued.
end of the day the commission should look to act on the facts (if there are any).

No doubt even if cleared on every point, this has been tarnished. Yes its been tarnished, no doubts about that now. The FA havent exactly covered themselves in glory here ( understatement of the year ), but its just F*cking disgusting really, & its a shame because QPR is a good club, a nice club & the fans dont deserve this, nor do the players & management, but for the fans, its just disgusting. Fans should be out celebrating & having a drink & a chat with each other, but instead are feeling like this, what can you say ?

@ Gib An independent commission generally establishes corruption and recommends a civil or criminal court action ?

Even if the hearing in terms of taking evidence has been completed and even if the panel know in their minds what the verdicts are on each count, writing up the judgement will take time as it will be the detail of the judgement upon which any challenge would be mounted.
I suspect this is where the legal people will have to really work carefully to set out why they consider a particular charge is proven or not proven, what evidence they accepted, what they rejected and the weight of the evidence. whatever the outcome, be it in favour of the club or not on each allegation they will want to make sure that the written judgement is as carefully crafted as it can be. Whether or not this is something that can be crafted in a matter of hours I have no idea but presumably will be a big factor in determining when the verdict is known.
This really is killingwhat should have been a great week and whilst on the limited information (as opposed to speculation) the process seems to have been cumbersome and poorly managed, the club has clearly acted in a way that provoked suspicion in the minds of the FA regulators.
Whatever the outcome, I would hope that there is at least transparency as to what this suspicion was, what was found and why we ended up in this terrible situation. I think every supporter has a right to a full and detailed explanation when this affair is concluded.

You have to say that whatever happens, this is a truly amazing denouement to the Paladini years, almost Shakespearean in a way.
And to think that there were QPR "fans" that defended him to the absolute hilt "mistake" after "mistake" after "mistake" after "mistake"
Unbelievable is the only word that I can think of that comes close.

Someone said something on one of the other QPR messageboards that I thought was very clever & apt, something along the lines of..............
"He may cost us Promotion, but he's great at getting you a signed QPR shirt" lol
