Looks to me like they are underreporting the real attendance.

I went down to LR to get my season ticket and there were loads of people there buying tickets from tomorrow night!
Should be a very good atmos....just not sure where's the best place to get a drink without running into some idiots trying to showboat.

I actually don't believe that because I presume that would be a criminal offence?
But if the club was underreporting, I presume the person criminally liable would either be the Club Secretary (Fall guy/Gal), The Deputy Managing Director, or the QPR FC Chairman...

Its only a criminal offence (if it is ) if you are caught. Then also have to be charged.
Also there are many laws that are not enforced. There are also laws which have different jurisdictions and levels.
France is much more interesting in regard to its laws. Having levels of law, Judges that are evidence collectors. Laws enforced by Jurists.
Charges not made until there is a Grand Investigation. Remember the Court de Grand Instance where Flavv got off after Crashgate.
Now the Crown will enforce and prosecute laws also in their own style, but anyway
I am making a Molehill out of a Mountain, but I still think they underreport.

The two footballing cultures - and this might be unfair, sorry!
QPR heroes, Marsh, Bowles, Ferdinand, Francis, etc... Millwall heroes: Harry Cripps et al

They also had Gary Waddock as a player! By their standards he'd have been the equivalent of Francis.

This is the kind of question the club might answer: How come....

Perhaps a fair honest question for the pre-match at our next home game? Or is it political?

well i went on to the on line ticket site and counted up the un-sold seats a day before the match there was 965 seats left in home areas of the ground! so if we can find out how many tickets wall had we should be able to find out for sure how many fans were in the ground! SIMPLES!

Underreporting crowds = underreporting sales = lower tax? I haven't been able to understand the low attendance figures all season. Having said that, I thought they were over-exaggerating them last year!

Is attendance figures based on ticket sales or actual attendance?
The reason I ask this is because the attendance last night was 15,200, yet say 15,500 had been sold (including ST) then the company would have declare the amount they sold, not the amount that attended.
I have always assumed it was based on the people who were actually there. I would strongly believe that no club would inflate or deflate attendances.

Having said that, I thought they were over-exaggerating them last year! They most definitely were. I just put it down to just another thing the Flabio got wrong. Definitely not a Rangers man as that is not our way of doing things and something that Ishaan has corrected back to the old way. JG: gone but never forgotten.
