The decision has been taken as a result of the club's poor run of results this season.Nice to see a club give the real reason for sacking a manager.... Yes but it won't stop the ex councillor and the rest of Paladini's pump queens from dancing naked around a fire in the moonlight. Their dreams have come true and now they will believe they were right with their disgusting campaign. The fact that we have all moved on or should have won't stop the gloating. Certainly cant be bothered to go and have a look, but I would bet that the knuckle draggers reaction to this is all too predictable. Unintelligent people to put it kindly.

(Sorry to break the thread! ) FOURTEEN MANAGERS since 2004. I said Briatore was sui generis. Maybe not! League Managers Association 01 Oct 2010 STATEMENT REGARDING PAULO SOUSA The League Managers Association (LMA) can confirm that Leicester City F.C. has parted company with Paulo Sousa with immediate effect. Paulo Sousa said: “To be sacked after being told that there was a long term strategy at the club and after only nine games in charge is something that I find very surprising.” Richard Bevan, Chief Executive of the LMA said, “How can a chairman expect to deliver success at a football club when a talented manager is recruited and dismissed within 2 months, at the start of the season and is given only nine league games to put his own imprint on the squad and the club? “Knee-jerk dismissals, and the chopping and changing of managers will not deliver success on the field and is incredibly destabilizing to the entire club. Paulo’s sacking is even more disappointing in light of the chairman’s comments on Paulo’s appointment, in the summer, when he stated he was ‘delighted to acquire a manager of such great calibre.’ “ Leicester City Football Club has had fourteen managers since 2004 and six whilst the current chairman has been at the club. Clearly the club has to examine its manager recruitment strategy as their current approach does not work. It is damaging to the club and its fans and is an inappropriate way to treat talented managers and their careers.” www.leaguemanagers.com/news/news-6653.html

looks like Ericksson according to SSN but Mandaric is almost as bad as Briatore. I suspect Sousa will be back in work by Christmas

In the various "critiques" of Sousa I read on a board today, I've read some of the disparaging comments re Sousa at Swansea last season - How he didn't make the playoffs, etc. Forget the style of football, but I thought he actually did a pretty good job at Swansea last season. And I believe, Sousa's Swansea finished ahead of QPR last season.

It seems that he would do very well in Portugal.....that would be a conclusion reached with a profound and in depth knowledge of Portuguese football or just a couple of visits to Nandos?

Well when you're able to pronounce about Sousa's supposed demands re payments over a Portugese defender, I guess maybe you qualify as an expert?

Erikksons fee must have gone down if he's interested in the Leicester job! I think there must be something happening with O'Neill & if that is to be the case, then Sousa would have been got rid of no matter what. I'd love to see that wee prIck get the sack

Anyway for this board at least: Onwards and Upwards

Just seen the post by Pete on which he yet has a go at QPR report and the Indyrs. All very sad and looks bad when a man who is working for the club goes on to his website and passes childish insults and will lie about other fans.
Pete the poor soul thinks there is some kind of war going on,why on earth he feels the need to time after time go on the war path i don't know but what i do know is that we won the league cup in 1967 not 68 like PPP said.
Also how a man who has got free tickets and then made money out of them from other QPR fans has the cheek to judge anyone is beyond me. And again i ask Pete what did he mean when he said he is more a QPR fan than i will ever be as i was not even born in this country.
Still he works for the club so he got what he wanted and yet he still bangs on about others. Pete, You need to stop trying to smear both this site and Indyrs you have been found out to be a man that lies and also a man who fakes interviews then also sells things he gets for free to make money from QPR fans. That in a word means you should just get on working for the club and leave out the insults.

Is he still banging on about things? So much for forget and move forward. Onwards and upwards etc. Not a good look for the club when one of "Their own" is bagging support groups. in fact if I was at the club, I would now consider distancing myself from said person. Not good form .

I wonder if they're still dancing naked in the moonlight. I guess they're all celebrating and feeling good about themselves. But the simple fact is what happened at Leicester is completely unrelated to the fact they didn't want to give him a chance here. Olly got the sack from Leicester, it didn't make him a bad manager and I'm guessin Sousa will bounce back from this and show that this is just a minor blip in his career. It's a shame that some find glory in others losing their jobs. At the very least you would have expected the ex councillor to sympathise and show a bit more maturity. Stilll I guess where there's no sense there's no feelings.

Ollie sacked here and Leicester and now in the Premiership. Sousa sacked from here and Leicester. Could he be Premiership bound? Now that would be interesting.

The way i see it was with sousa at QPR fans seen that a few horsecocks rode the man out under orders from their master. Sousa was the one that made people see that these people will smear anyone who they are told too, Fact is Pete said last season Swansea would go down with a record points low they did not end of debate Pete knows nothings.

SKY and Daily Mirror saying SVEN has agreed a 2 year deal and is due to take charge monday ! Good appoint or Bad ! Dont think Sven has championship manager experience , may be a bit different to when he was at MAN CITY ! Who thinks he will get the Foxes into Prem this year or next?

Maybe it will work...
But I'd honestly rather have Warnock or Holloway to Erickson to get us out of this Division...Erickson had an ok time at Notts C before he departed. But if you spend enough you can do a lot of things.
I'd have thought Leicester should have gone for a little lower profile rather than someone who is really just a football mercenary...

My thoughts exactly Mac ! O,Neil probably wanted to hold out for a top 6 job , but that could be a big wait , realistically only Man C or Liverpool that he may go for!
