You sure it was 1-0? I thought it was 0-0. We wore the red & white halved shirts that day. Was a good trip up and back on the train.

I checked. We lost 0-1..Gues it's hard when you sell both brilliant young forwards . Then in following games Docherty gave Fereday his debut...and played Bob Hazell at Center Forward...Bought Tommy Langley and then Andy King....had a few more games, and then...Bye Bye Tommy Docherty and Welcome TERRY VENABLES
