... that rangers are trying to get up to the prem on the cheap. i dont think we will get out of this league by buying the likes of reg varney. what do you people think???

I guess we'll soon know. The transfer window is open for a couple more weeks. I don't particularly want Smith or McAnuff. But if we do sign them, that's a considerable payment out

Not sure we are doing on the cheap; With Kenny (roughly 750k) Orr (either swap or 500k), Adel (upto 1million), I would say we have spent more than most in the division.
As Colin said hopefully there are 3 strikers and a utility player coming in.

Cheap for sure. Lots of frees. Taarabt 600k, Kenny 750k,Other clubs have been investing, just not announcing the fees. Middlesbrough, Hull etc.

Or premiership players that are not getting game time up there. The top 5 teams seem to have never ending squads and fringe players must be getting frustrated at lack of game time.
