With the new season nearly here im getting a tad concerned that we dont seem to be signing the players that we are chasing! now i might be shot down in flames as we sign one player after another in the next week or so, but ive just got this feeling that something just aint right! i really hope im wrong on this but we just seem to be losing out at the momment.

If you had told me back in May, that we were set to enter August without the signing of TWO proven goalscorers, I'd have been very unhappy - and disconcerted....
So yes it is a worry. Especially after the Saksena commitment to have spending "fun" this summer.
I imagine we will sign...But it would have been a lot more ideal to have bought several weeks ago, so they could intergrate into the team

yeah thats whats concerning me. even if we do sign players now they wont really have enough time to settle in. also this rumour about disagreements between the board as to who warnock should sign is very worrying if true! I just cant help but think flabio and his side kicks are still sticking there oars in!!!! the sooner the italains and co f*ck off and leave our club alone the better!

I can't speak re budgets: But the incontrovertible (at least to most people) fact is that in the world of transfers, Briatore and Paladini have been an absolute DISASTER in whom they bought to QPR - and what they have cost the club. (A few exceptions out of scores and scores and scores of players signed to this club). And that is indeed a concern. Not just what they DID do...But what they may be continuing to do (or at least trying to do)

To add: There was always a chance/hope (or fear for a handful) that "That Man" might have left in the summer. Given that didn't happen, I assume now that as long as Briatore remains, he'll remain. And just have to hope that Briatore does get bought out.

Sadly, it's all to typical of the last few years, which is so bloody disappointing True, but never before have we actually been promised a spending summer, which we were this time. The amount of spend doesn't bother me though. We brought in a few quite rapidly and all looked good, words into action but recently the protracted chase of players we do not get is all too familiar. Add the supposed interference and it's all too reminiscent of reason seasons.

Of course, there is still time, so a final "Assessment" should be held off.
We're LINKED to quite a few players - Some big money
But certainly it does seem not as productive as we'd hoped

Lot of vague mummerings about the fat orange italian tart is interfering regarding transfers, slowing things up, prob the poison dwarf as well.
The last thing those two tarts want, is not to spend any od their cash on transfers.

I cant believe hes interfering again !This must be just poppyc-ck ! If he starts sticking his hooter in again NW wont tolerate it thats for sure !He'll end up going and we will be back to square one again ! Wish he would let people who understand football run our beloved club !

Well i dont know how true this is m8, but hearing/reading from a few people.
The main rumour is that once again the indian guy who owns force india f1 is going to buy flav and Bernie out, for which i prey this is true.
We need to see the back of the chuckle brothers and allow the club to move forward.
Plus although flav is no longer majority share holder, he may still hold enough 20% to put a spanner in us getting in transfers.

Yeah that 20 % or so is a right pain , wish he walk away now and pass these over but suppose Ecclestone would go if Flav does ! About time it was done and dusted and all put out in the open so we know exactly whats going on ! Nothing seems straightforward at our club does it !

Still required as per the last 5 years - 2 proper full backs both left or right sided (4 in total) and 2 proven strikers and a 3rd up and coming promising striker.

Think Defence will not be changed any more than orr in this week ! Mcanuff in plus i feel one experienced striker /AND loan or deal for Jay If Taraabt joined the party aswell think we could even do better than playoffs .
RANGERS FOR FIFTH!
