I was at the Boleyn for Bob's wonder header, quality goal.
We would walk this league with that team.
Must be some missing though......

We have good black players over the years. Sir Les gets most accolades, as he was a goal scorer. Paul Parker and Willo were also brilliant for us, and that overhead kick goal by Tricky Trev against Barnsley was just truly amazing, the atmosphere, the noise as people realised it had gone it, wow just wow.

Paul Parker was the best.
Les was most fantastic.
Furs was a ledge.
but for me big Bob Hazell and his deliberate mistake, ( 1 per game) and marking Cyril Regis out of THAT game, makes him the GREATEST.

Parker, Sir Les, Hazel in that order for me but all Rangers leg ends.
Don't forget Hazell's near post corner flick on's Des.

Yeah big bob hazel! That really brings it all back! Paul parker and his little push in the back of the opposing forward! He must have won 90% of headers per game! Loved furs! Sir les and the way he could almost hang in the air and those fantastic runs he made! Clive wilson was class, always seemed to have time on the ball and his passing was superb! Not forgetting dennis bailey who scored that great hat-trick at man utd on new years day, not one of rangers greatest black players but he cured my hang over! God bless you dennis! Last but not least the late ray jones, who I think would have been a brillant player for us, he just had that look about him of class, so sad that his life was taken at such a young age!

Bob Hazell did one of those flick ons for Fenwick to equalize in the Cup Final. Brilliant player and an awesome guy. Parker was so well organised, nothing panicked him, Trevor and Les, what can you say? Furs I would add in the mix too. A late starter for us and a legend by the end of his QPR career.
I wouldn't really like to pick one out of the names mentioned to be honest as they all added different qualities to the club. One thing that would have been brilliant would be to have had them all on the field at the same age and at the same time. We'd cake walk this division and scare the crap out of a lot of EPL teams.

Easy to go for Ferdinand (for his goals), Sinclair (for that goal), Wilson (for his class) or Bob Hazell ( for his contribution in the FAC SF), but I will go for Danny Maddix- not only a great man marker, but a very decent bloke off the pitch as well.

Antonio German could top this list in a few years time.
I'm not joking.
Give the lad a run, everything I've seen of him tells me that he is a fantastic talent just waiting in the wings.

No place for Richard Langley, Danny Shittu (could-have-been Leonne Jeanne)?

Can't split that centre back pairing - Maddix and Hazell. One man to man marking genius with excellent positional sense and one man mountain who terrified the life out of international forwards.

Don't forget Hazell's near post corner flick on's Des. Did you ever see Bob's '' Peter Shilton save '' at Leicester midweek in the 80's, resulted in him being sent off, penalty & near riot from the travelling R's ;D legend...
