Jose Bosingwa joins QPR on a three-year contract
Jose BosingwaQueens Park Rangers have signed former Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa on a three-year deal. The 29-year-old Portuguese has been without a club since May after Chelsea decided not to offer him a new contract. "He has got a winning mentality and that is what I want to have around the place," said manager Mark Hughes. Hughes also confirmed that midfielder Owen Hargreaves is no longer training with the club. The former England international had been training at QPR since the end of last month in a bid to build up his fitness following injury. Portugal international Bosingwa becomes Hughes's eighth signing of the summer. "He understands the Premier League and he understands what it takes to win games," Hughes added. Bosingwa said: "I had the pick of many clubs, but the project here excites me greatly. "I played for Chelsea for four years and I love Premier League football and the supporters." Meanwhile, Hughes confirmed that suspended midfielder Joey Barton is likely to be loaned out. French club Marseille have shown interest in signing the player, although they have yet to make an offer. "Yes ," said Hughes.
"I have had discussions on a number of occasions with Joey and the fact is he is not available for 12 games at the beginning of the season.
"There has been interest shown by [Marseille] but there has been no offer made."

Jose Bosingwa
QPR defender Jose Bosingwa has left the club by mutual consent and is set to join Turkish top-flight side Trabzonspor.
The 30-year-old former Chelsea full-back and went on to make 23 starts, scoring one goal as they were relegated to the Championship.
Bosingwa, who cost Chelsea £16.2m in 2008, made 24 appearances for Portugal and played at the 2008 European Championship before quitting international football in 2011.
He began his club career at Boavista but came to prominence at Portuguese rivals Porto where he won three league titles and the Champions League before his move to Chelsea.
The defender won another Champions League title, a league championship and three FA Cups during his four-year spell at the Blues.
