Jan 16, 2008 - Luton Official Site - HATTERS APPOINT NEW MANAGER In a press conference at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday afternoon Luton Town Football Club announced that Mick Harford has been appointed as the new Manager until the end of the season, replacing Kevin Blackwell. Former Portsmouth and QPR defender Warren Neill will be the new Assistant Manager. Harford, who will need little introduction to Hatters fans, will take charge of the side for the first time on Saturday when Luton travel to seventh placed Leyton Orient. He brings with him a lot of experience and coaching. He has been at QPR looking after their youth yeam for five years. When I was Caretaker Manager at QPR, Warren became my Caretaker Assistant Manager. We have a good relationship and he is a fantastic coach. He knows what it takes to win football matches." Luton
