Buckingham Advertiser - Brittain ends Saints' slump

QPR youth team player Joe Brittain scored a hat-trick as Chalfont St Peter ended their horrendous run and beat Brimsdown Rovers 3-1 on Saturday.
The pacey youngster gave the Saints the much needed points after going on a seven game losing run which also saw them dumped out of the FA Vase on Saturday.
After boss Danny Edwards signed six players this week, the team responded with a positive result which keeps their promotion hopes alive.
With no other distractions, all at Mill Meadow will be desperate to get out of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division this season.
But they will have to do it the hard way. The win moves them up to fifth in the table and four points behind leaders Colney Heath having played a game more.
