LEEDS have slapped a £3million price tag on Jermaine Beckford in a bid to keep him until the end of the season.
QPR, Newcastle and Portuguese duo Braga and Benfica are lining up to sign the striker in the January window.
But manager Simon Grayson is desperate to hold on to his star as League One United chase promotion back to the Championship.
But Beckford, 25, is out of contract at the end of this season and will leave for nothing if they fail to go up.
Leeds face Millwall today and a club source said: "Selling him is not an option - unless someone is prepared to pay silly money."

But Leeds will only cash in on their prize asset should someone agree to meet their asking price.
