Zinedine Zidane has revealed his delight at returning to Real Madrid in an ambassadorial role after attending the match against Real Valladolid at the weekend.
The French legend has been tempted back to the Bernabeu by president Florentino Perez and will represent the club at the most high profile games of the season.
Starting this week, Zidane will accompany UEFA president Michel Platini when he visits to watch Madrid take on Milan in the Champions League. 'Zizou' is relishing the role.
"I am delighted to be back," the former Juventus star was quoted as saying by AS.
"When one has played at the Bernabeu something very special stays in your heart.
"Now I am back to do a little bit of work for the club and I am very pleased about that."
