I saw that Scott recently paid google to boost WATRB's ranking. So currently, if you do a google search of QPR, they're there as "The Number ONE QPR Site" (And of course we've been down that path before of what constitutes "Number One QPR Site" ) It's an interesting idea and if it makes people happy, good luck! Although I'm not sure of the benefits - especially for sites which don't make any money, no matter how many people visit. (I haven't even looked to see how much it cost. Presumably not that much) Beyond a possibly-psychic satisfaction, I wonder how it translates into significant changed viewers. I can't believe that most people interested in QPR who visit the boards, don't already know about the various QPR sites. Those who don't, probably don't visit much anyway. Of course if you do go to google, and type in QPR .... www.google.co.uk or www.google.com And for anyone interested: here's the link to WATRB - because one really shouldn't have any fear of linking to fellow QPR Sites - www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/

That site does not appear on the first page of my google search so are you sure about this? If I had paid for a service i would expect to be seen on the first page. On mine there is tghe official site, loftforwords, qpr report and qpr.org.
That site does appear as one of two on the virgin site as noted on lfw recently.
Any statement calling oneself the number one usually means you are not.

Last week a thread was hastily deleted from WATRB as the stats showed LFW as the most visited, valuable and highest ranked QPR message board. No surprise that QPR Report blog was the most visited, valuable and highest ranked QPR website overall by a very large margin.
Now I don't know how accurate the stats were, dotorg and Vital weren't listed, but it would seem the original poster was attempting to mock other QPR board's by listing stats...it blew up in his face and they deleted the whole thread. Funny as f... ;D ;D

They show up on ther right hand side of the google page here in NZ www.google.co.nz I've dropped to 6th so will have to bump up my own profile. without paying per click. Apparently, WATRB only pay per click, so if everyone clicks on their link, it'll cost them a shit load!! Well thats what it said if you check the google ad words page.

NO! ;D So that's the opposite of google's adsense when you get paid for people clicking on ads... I guess theoretically WATRB could place an ad on QPR Report Blog - and I'd get paid everytime someone clicked through onto WATRB via my site

But is an ad on the side, the same as paying to be ranked up?

zranger, you need to be a bit smarter to find an angle.
The post was removed because it turned into a slanging match between messageboards, which was the real reason.
Whatever, rocks your boat and I guess twisting actual events does help.
As for the busiest, I couldn't care less. all sites do a job and this one does a great job of advertising WATRB's so cannot complain.

That's not quite true is it. because the thread was blocked so no one could continue to post on it. So the slanging match had in fact ceased. Was only after that it was deleted. zranger isn't twisting anything. The honourable thing was to have deleted it as soon as it was posted up

just googled QPR - no WATRB, although earlier when i did - it was the top ranked.
But when I googled QPR News - WATRB was a sponsored link - but like I say, right at this very moment, it's not even on the first page of results either way

Mind you seems like most of what you say, as shown in other posts above that again you are either simply misguided, misquoted or plain wrong. Just give it up and merge with the official site and see how far you get. You and your rules are just bollox to suit yourself and at any given opportunity you do what you have done.

Hi Pete, Thanks for dropping by, always a pleasure to hear your latest opinions. Could you pass on our thanks to The Chuckle Brothers for the excellent work they do bringing the contents of this site and Reports Blog to a wider audience, though they might be interested in looking up the definition of the word attribution. Considering the number of times you have said that you will never post on here again I am starting to worry about your apparent obsession with Report, it is starting to rival your other obsession with perma-tanned Meditteranean men.... All the best, mate.

I would say if you vist a certain site (which some don't do), you might recognize some of the material! (On the other hand, to be fair, there is some material posted on that other site, which would never ever be posted on this site )
