what makes me wonder is what the nature of the relationship between Base Soccer and QPR - when our agents fees were low, we seemed to have a large turnover of players, which didn't add up to me............

Checking: For the previous agents report, back in February, when the QPR payments were comparatively low, The QPR Official Site had a link to the entire report which listed club-by-club spending. www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1570241,00.html This time, when QPR's agent spending was the highest in the football league, no such link so fans could read club-by-club spending. www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1761263,00.html

Looking at the Watford site, interestingly WATFORD do take note of how much WATFORD Spent on agents fees (something QPR didnt) Watford Official Site - "...AGENTS' FEES FALL BY £2m THE latest publication of Football League clubs spending on agents' fees has revealed that the amount of money committed to agents has fallen by more than £2 million in the last 12 months. League clubs committed £8.8m to agents between July 2008 and June 2009 compared to £11.1m for the same period in 2007/08. Watford committed a total of £294,440 between July 1 2008 and June 30 2009. The Hornets made a total 36 transactions during this period. This included 17 new arrivals at WD18, with the likes of Mike Williamson and Don Cowie signings for the 'Orns. A total of eight contracts were renewed last season including those of Scott Loach, Adrian Mariappa and Richard Lee. Watford cancelled five contracts and completed six loans including Jack Cork, Grzegorz Rasiak and Gavin Hoyte during this period...." QBP 20th August 2009... "To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."
Props to Cpt. Clunge for spotting that quote

Thats a lot of money for a mid table team.
Mind you, not all of us can work as hard for QPR as Gianni & his "associates" A true club servant, how lucky we are to have this outstanding & highly respected man working for our Football Club I'm sure you will all agree ?
