Adomah ahead of Smyth?

Kick it the stand and hope for 0-0 team.
Dykes injured again - not to worry he will be fit just in time to play for Scotland in November
Smyth not starting - well he struggled at wing back but scores when played up front so just leave him out completely as we know we do not need to score a goal.
Cannon not starting - maybe he can only last 60 minutes but at least start him and use a sub if needed.
Armstrong leading the line ......what line, and then Albert - obviously for his pace or to cover Kakay.
Just when I was starting to feel better I feel sick again. I think my 7-0 win prediction is border line now.
All together now "you don't know what you're doing"

Dykes injured - if he is not available on Tuesday or for next Saturday, we have Armstrong who is on 4 bookings. If he gets booked, we could have either Kelman or Kolli against Leicester.... As for Adomah's selection.....presumably the thinking is that he is better defensively in front of Kakay. But yeah, I despair.

1-0 after 8 minutes
Can we sack a manager at half time or maybe he will be heading for the railway station by himself now. No worries though our attack will turn things round.

We all knew they wasted the international break backing a man who is not going to turn this around. We deserve to be in the vanarama league, not anywhere near the Championship. Truly one of the most awful outfits to ever call themselves a professional football team.

2-0 after 14 minutes - maybe my 7-0 will be right but to the wrong team .
Still we just passed the ball forward ...but Armstrong was offside for a change.
How many times more am I going to see the text " GOAL right footed shot from the centre of the box"

This team has a 10-0 stuffing coming their way. I'm sure of it.
Maybe not this game, but its coming at some point soon.
I just have to laugh at the total ineptitude of this whole club.

As John and Yoko would sing
"All we are saying is give Beale a chance"
He could not do worse than this.
Oh no we won a corner - get me a doctor quick

We have got back to 2-1 but......... I don't read anywhere that Ainsworth deserves longer, or any faith that he will turn it around. We don't just lose, we lose badly. Goals are scored with no player near them, all the time in the world to place their shots. Every time the opposition attack we look a shambles. The poor fans who travelled up there today against all the transport odds to see us capitulate in 15 minutes. Caretaker manager for Tuesday and Saturday, new manager for after the break. Probably too late already.

Can't see us getting another point before the next International break. As Ricky says the defence (that GA builds his team on) is nowhere to be seen. Kakay is a weak link but otherwise we cannot blame the injuries as the same happens regardless of who plays. Clarke-Salter is supposed to be one of the best younger CB 's in the Championship. Dunne can hold his own. Cook and Fox have all the experience and knowledge and are not stupid. So if it is not the players it is down to formation /tactics and that comes down to one man who has no clue what to do and has probably lost the dressing room weeks ago.
Lots of nice photos on the offie of training - lost of running around sticks and cones - no sign of practice games or tactics but a bunch of players all with hands on hips and heads down counting the grass while GA talks.
That's all for today - England cricket is even worse so time to switch off and send for a good red wine.

I like GA, i think he is a good man and he does seem to love our club.BUT he cannot manage a football team, any football team, and he needs to walk away from us having tried his best. The board will not force him as he is costing them less than anyone else would, i am convinced of that. But as long as we keep Beale away from the hotseat thats fine by me.

I doubt even one single QPR fan is surprised anymore.
The sad thing is that Ainsworth probably genuinely believes he can turn this around.
The even sadder thing is that it seems our board probably believes it too.

Just tortured myself reading GA's post match comments - the man is deluded.
Even WLS are at it - "we are still in the bottom 3 because we lost" - no, even if we won we would be in the bottom three as the gap above is opening, we will drop a place when Rotherham beat us in a couple of weeks even before they play their game in hand.
But of course we were unlucky we put in lots of effort, we were far better than against Blackburn, we will have a good season ........... Maybe next trainingg session is to teach certain players that when we play away in red we give the ball to players in red from throw ins and passes and when we have a shot from yard out we score and not even give anyone the chance of a wonder save.
Reading what he repeatedly says I have come to the conclusion that he is as bad or not worse than Beale in that it is all about him, forget the players fans or club. "The Club was a mess until I arrived and put it right" yeah that worked
Not a gambling man but some good odds going around - longest losing streak, lowest goals scored in a season, most conceded, lowest points total........

I was one of the fools that took the long journey north yesterday! Keep going as surely we will win at some point! Not much more to add that hasn’t already been said in many quarters. Poor defending for both goals, we did then improve, but this was against a weak opponent, and probably a 2-2 draw would have been hard for Huddersfield fans to disagree with. No Dykes again showed where we lack any decent cover in the no.9 position. Armstrong is many years away from doing that for us in this league. I really don’t get what all the fuss is about with him. Big, strong and pacy but you go down to non league even decent Sunday league standard, and there will be many players like that. He lacks the other important attributes - technical, composure and general football IQ. There is a player there but he is the rawest I have since at this level and desperately needs 2 or 3 more years learning the game at a lower standard. It is painful to watch at times and I feel for him as he shouldn’t be relied upon at this level yet on his own upfront. He could be some player in a few years time. Unfortunately we have no one else to use in that role.
2nd half was better and had two good chances to equalise but didn’t take them. Chair continues to frustrate. At 25/26 he should be hitting his prime but he too has gone backwards and suffers being in a poor team. His agent must be bending his ear after every game to move on for his own personal career. I felt the Smyth on Armstrong off sub actually derailed the pressure we were building as he never got into the game.
It’s plain to see in my eyes that Ainsworth is out of his depth. Championship football is tough, there are many quality teams now and nearly all teams have 1 or 2 players who can hurt you when they turn it on. He has spent too long in League One whilst not realising that it is not just the gulf in premier league football that has been growing during that time.
That said I don’t know who would come in and really improve much since it is ultimately the same players until January transfer window. Majority are L1 standard I am afraid and that is where we are heading unless a miracle happens! It is same old same old from last year, bar a couple of good wins in the Beale era, but stretching out across two seasons. I even go back to Warburton initial season and we were on a downward spiral until lockdown and a few loan signings got us up the league.
Onto West Brom midweek and maybe something will change? Start with a clean sheet in the first 20 minutes and we build from there.

Excellent post sums up everything we haven't looked like a team since we were relegated 2015 7 management teams and coaches have failed to make any real progress and find consistency on the pitch we have never looked solid at the back for more than a few games and then back to conceding easy goals and this is probably the weakest and goal shy forward line we have put out for seasons it doesn't look good and i don't know if anyone can turn this around we have become embarrassing and the board need to wake up

Unfortunately, I just watched the highlights again and no matter how I view it, but how the F--k did Armstrong miss that sitter? ? My late Mother and her late mother could have scored that even now when they are both ashes to the wind.
