footballleagueworld.co.uk/the-14-qpr-players-who-are-leaving-on-a-free-next-summer/#asmir-begovicPerhaps we have some options, but how many of the 14 would you want to retain? Begovic, Archer, Walsh, Dunne, Drewe, Dixon-Bonner, Kakay, Field, Kelman, Duke-McKenna, Dozzell, Adomah, Willock, Armstrong

Honestly, only field on that list provides consistent performances week in week out for us so would not care if the rest were let go. Armstrong has something, not sure what yet other than pace and strength but there could be a player in there if he starts to learn the game and develop more football intelligence. Very raw but as I said, he could make it. I see very similar pattern as Les Ferdinand career with us. Les made debut in 1987 but was not until 5 years later (92-93 season) when he really developed into a proper footballer. Sinclair may need similar time but that is time we don’t have as he is now a first squad regular.

Good question and I suppose the first thing is to know is which division we will be in and under which manager and style of play.
No doubt we will be in for yet another re-build so we can argue that most should be let go but we need to be able to replace them and that will take some Monet we probably will not have. However as basics I would say we need to keep at least one keeper, who will depend on if he is to be our no 1 or a back-up.
Dunne is a potential along with Field. If Dozzell keeps up the performances he showed a few games ago when pushed forward he is a maybe, especially in League One, but I still think he has something to prove to stay. We need to see what experience and improvement Dixon-Bonner and Duke-McKenna make this season before judging.
Interesting cases are Willock - who I think will want a new start whatever happens and maybe he will turn out to be yet another wasted talent - is he really injury prone or is it attitude?. Then Armstrong - needs to become a footballer instead of a battering ram and start to score goals - if not I put a big question mark over keeping him.
Of the rest Drewe and Kakay can go if Cannon works out , Kelman is supposed to be a natural goal scorer but I think League 2 is his level, while Albert sadly has lost his legs - maybe good in a junior coaching role but not on the pitch.
