Interesting selection with 4 changes - no change upfront but what choice do we have?

Well we had a shot on target saved for a corner inside the first 2 minutes - must go for a rest after all the excitement.

0-4
It's gonna take more than a manager change to save this season, I fear.

LOL, the first remark will be, ( the haters are gonna love this ) priceless. I actually like GA nice bloke, but whoever appointed him needs to leave along with him. This season is over already, the joke of the game keeps giving out.

Our defense is really shoddy. Ainsworth may have managed his last game as team breaks record for consecutive games lost at home. I predicted we would lose three to one, but even that was too flattering

First 20 minutes, we looked ok. No shortage of effort. Looked promising for once. Blackburn first attack, three duels lost, simplest of goals. We do not just concede goals, we lose more than one goal at a time. Same move, same lost duels and two nil. We conceded and totally fall apart. We were awful then until half time. Came out for the second half with more press and urgency. First ball through the defence and we are in trouble. Today was a very, very bad day. Not sure how Ainsworth survives a performance like that. His decision to play a rookie left back at right back, was cruelly exposed. Why have Cannon on the bench if he is not fit enough to come on and replace him. Instead he sent on Kakay who was awful. Dykes was poor. Chair's decision making dreadful. Dozzell back to being the friendly ghost. Colback poor. Paal's poorest game for us to date. Armstrong kept trying, but that was so hard to sit and watch - and unusually, I left before the end.

I have stopped caring anymore.
It just makes me angry and it’s not worth it.
Have a great weekend because, with the exception of probably Armstrong and Kolli, the rest of them will be happily enjoying themselves tonight totally ambivalent to todays shambolic result.

I was at the game and post match I was looking at a much bigger picture. Lets leave aside the many defensive howlers that could have seen us get beat 7-0 instead of 4- 0 Blackburn's standard of football was light years ahead of our Philistine hit and hope style. Even if by some major miracle Blackburn had missed all their numerous chances and the score line ended up 0-0 it is impossible to hide the fact that their superior quality of football was on a different planet to ours. Honestly I have seen teams in league One and Two serve up more class and precision passing and pass and move than our lot this season. Ale House Soccer!!

Not sure many players will be enjoying themselves - more thinking how do I get away from this mess.

So much for Ainsworth abandoning his direct kick and chase tactics.

I’m tiring of GA’s rousing “once more unto the breach dear friends “ speeches. Being an inspirational leader can work short term but it has a shelf life.
Colback, Cook, Fox are excellent signings but they are not miracle workers.
We need a multi threaded tactical strategy, organisation and adaptability.
This is not Wycombe.
