Swansea are pish poor. If we can't beat them at home then we is in some deep trouble.

Frustrating game. The equaliser felt like a winner, but it was a poor result against a very poor Swansea side. I have not seen tv highlights, but Begovic appeared to parry Lowe's attempt straight on to the hand of the Swansea attacker. Not sure what linesmen do nowadays. But it was another soft goal with the keeper and officials culpable. We showed on Saturday how hard it is to break down teams who just sit back, but we really did not work their goalkeeper. The cross from Illias McChair was a rarity - Dykes had one attempt from a great cross. Armstrong should be an impact substitute - that is where he is about now. He was offside to the point that Field had a go at him. He also missed a sitter thinking he was offside. But we have to beat teams like Swansea, who yet again targeted the weakness between Kakay and Smyth - something the opposition do if they watch us for more than 5 minutes. It will be interesting to see what our first-choice line up is with Dunne, Clarke-Salter, Fox and Cook all available and then the new right back Reggie Cannon - assuming he signs. Smyth was one of our best players going forward yesterday, but although very willing chasing back, he gets turned too easily. We all want Kakay to succeed (he is one of our own) and he had a decent game yesterday, but it is about the team, and the right back area is arrowed as a weakness by analysts. I predicted a draw because I did not think Swansea would keep losing under Duff, who I rate, but after that Cardiff defeat, and looking at their squad, they must be one of the results to look for along with Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham and Huddersfield. Keep praying!

However we move on to the next game and the next etc etc and just hope things change for the better, cos as fans we can do little else.

Dykes scored a rare goal. Fact is, he's averaging a goal for Scotland in just over every 3 games. For QPR he is averaging a goal nearly every 5 games. For our "main threat", that simply is not good enough. OK, he grabbed us a point today but we really need him to hit some of the form when he signed for us - A goal a game for the first 6.

Spot on, said much the same to my mate on the way home. Armstrong is still a work in progress, he either gets caught offside or referees dont like his physicality and he commits the foul. 25 minutes as the opposition start to tire is his window right now. Dykes made a big difference and Field gets through so much work. If only we could get the old Willock back as we are crying out for a playmaker and a creative spark.

Dykes made a big difference and Field gets through so much work. If only we could get the old Willock back as we are crying out for a playmaker and a creative spark. Willock is a curious one. On Saturday, during the warmup I did not initially recognise him. He has bulked up and with the hair, he looked different. Taylor Richards at the Ipswich game has also bulked up - but looked overweight and unfit. Willock doesn't look like that - it is as if the sports fitness guys have been bulking him up to help his hamstrings. Or perhaps it is just all the inactivity through injury. But on the pitch he is not the same player. He looks devoid of confidence and a shadow of his old self. I thought last night he did ok, and allowance has to be made for him returning to fitness, but if we sign a proper right back this week (Cannon) then I think that Smyth will be a better option than Willock in that position. Compare and contrast the pace of Smyth with Willock. Unless he signs a new contract, I think he is destined to be a substitute until January, and he may well bulk up some more. As for buyers, scouts will see what we see - Willock does not look the game changer he was a year ago. Always seems a decent lad, he must be feeling distraught.

Well he needs to be selected first. But he looks a different player for Scotland. Last night he showed what he can do with the right service. Biggest surprise for me was that it was Chair who crossed - for the second time in the match. Smyth was offside for the first. Chair was our biggest threat last night, and he worked tirelessly, but his decision making lets him down. The cross for Dykes was what was required (and excellent) but so few times......

their goal should never have stood ,blatant handball ,what the linesman on that side I have no idea anyway the ref should have seen it,it seems that every ref ref we get has no idea how to referee a game , another thing that really annoyed me was the fact Swansea players were in the refs ear all the time which according to the New guidelines won't be tolerated ,yet he let's it go ,also constant time wasting, then when he sends off the Swansea player off he should have gone off the should be made to walk around the pitch not walk straight across therefore holding play up again ,all I want is for the officials to be impartial not to favour a team I want it called straight down the middle we are getting too much of it now officials not sticking to the rules
