Queens Park Rangers midfielder Andre Dozzell scored his first goal in almost four years to help consign winless Middlesbrough to a fourth defeat in five Championship games.
Dozzell netted two minutes before the break with a fierce strike from the edge of the area which flew in past former R's goalkeeper Seny Dieng and in off a post.
