The team has been announced if anyone is interested. No Dykes. Willock and JCS on the bench Midfield looks a bit weird but who knows how they will actually line up.

Yes, quite odd if Dykes plays for Scotland now, having not been named on the bench today. Kellman also on the bench today. But no Richards, our only real expenditure this Summer - not surprising giving his show at Oxford / Pres-season, but wonder what is happening there? Quite surprised that Adomah is on the bench as he has looked way off the pace this season. I would have thought try Drewe again, or even Bala. Albert for his experience I guess, but not when he is close to being a passenger when he comes on for a knackered Smyth. Drewe was targeted and roasted at Blackpool as Mowbray correctly highlighted the chasm between Dickie and Drewe. Before that he was progressing ok. Blackpool was as much on Dickie as it was on Drewe. But if Drewe is not going to be part of the plan going forward, he is a waste of a wage at his age. |

Re above - Dykes should be withdrawn from etc Scotland squad if he cannot make our bench - but he will be allowed to p lay and report back injured.
Richards could turn out to be one of our worst ever signings but no word from the club about him. Why we agreed a loan with obligation to buy instead of a loan with option to buy is a joke especially with FFP.
Drewe would have been better going on loan and shuffle the pack if Kakay gets injured/suspended.
This season is one too far for Albert - probably good to have in 4th dressing room but not doing it on the pitch.
Armstrong has so much pace but needs to time his runs better to stay onside - he can get to a pass quicker than most defenders so stay onside or maybe just release the passes sooner.
