Sad news. Mike was one season before my time so I never got to see him play for the R's. As a kid adult supporters often told me about his talent during the 55-57 seasons
He was so I have been informed a star winger at Loftus Rd when R's were in Division 3 (south) and was obviously too good for that level and was sold to First Division Birmingham. He later played for Sunderland Huddersfield and Peterboro'.
