Makes our start a little harder but it seems the club have known the pitch needed more time for a while hence they asked for the first game to be away before the fixtures were announced.
Interesting to see if the Norwich game switches as it is only a few days later but those days could be vital for the pitch.
The only alternatives would to have played one or both of those on a neutral ground if we could afford to pay Fulham or Brentford to use theirs and if they would agree which I doubt.
Still I prefer the switch to ending up with a Coventry type fiasco as they had last season.
If I was a Twitter user I would go on and post that this would not have happened if Sir Les was still there - just to wind up the idiots.

A totally mental over-reaction on the anti-social media platforms.
We’re having a scorching summer, swapping the fixture is a no- brainer to give a few more precious days to prepare it.

It's not ideal, i would rather play them at our place first, but i have seen the Loftus Road mud baths of the past so would rather have a decent playing surface then the bad old days.

I would have missed the game anyway, so selfishly quite pleased.
But then the one away game I always make is Watford - and now I cannot make that!
