FLAV YOUVE GOT IT ALL WRONG TO REALLY PROPELL US WE HAVE TO BE LOOKING TO PURCHASE 22 YEAR OLDS FROM THE LOWER DIVISIONS LIKE MICHAEL MANCIENNE HIS VALUE IS GOING TO DOUBLE THEN TREBLE BY THE TIME WE SELL HIM WE WILL HAVE GOT FOUR GOOD SEASONS OUT OF HIM PLUS MADE SEVERAL MILLIONS PROFIT ON HIM BUT THE TRICK IS GETTING YOUR SCOUTS TO CONTINUALLY FIND MORE 22 YR OLDS SO WE ARE LIKE A CAR PRODUCTION SITE AS ONE PLAYER IS SOLD WE WILL INTRODUCE ANOTHER YOUNG TALLENT THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO RUN A FOOTBALL CLUB AT A VIRTUAL BREAK EVEN SITUATION

Don't know re youngsters or not. But do agree we shouldn't have this "obsession" with Premiership flops. Re players growing in value: Go back a decade (and yes I can probably find the quote ): One of the reasons given by Chris Wright for axing Houston/appointing Harford was that Harford would be signing players we could sell on. (OK it didn't work. But that was the idea)
