From what I have read he hasn't played much and a desperate to get back to UK. I think that value is based on Leeds having lots of Prem money to spend.

From what I have read he hasn't played much and a desperate to get back to UK. I think that value is based on Leeds having lots of Prem money to spend. I know that for next season we are likely to be supporting a team full of players who have allowed their contracts to expire at their last club, but it seems wrong that another club will make millions out of the Bright deal when QPR and Blackpool will probably receive nowt. I hope we had a sell-on clause, but our negotiating position was very weak (just like the club players we will sign). The balance of power is now too far on the players' side. The game is supposed to be about the supporters. The supporters may idolize a player (Bowles in my case) but it is the team we support. If we accept that football is a business, then it is a business based on highly skewed tv money, and then exploiting the financial weaknesses of other clubs. Hardly sport! It is also the case that it is financially easier to exist in any division rather than the Championship due to the way FFP is structured. Top division is the Holy grail, but verry hard to achieve. Leagues one and two structured to help survival. Championship structured so that wealthy owners cannot buy their way to the elite Prem.
