Very true Nomar. If our owners pull out we will be in far worse a situation than Wigan in no time at all.
Very sorry for Wigan fans even though the club is low on my list of favourites. Can't say what I want to say about the owners without being evicted from the board.
Even if the club survives they are racking up points deductions and will likely go straight down again.
What is beyond me is why owners buy a club and then let it fall to pieces like this. Shows they do not understand or care about the club, football, fans, and local community. EFL vetting process needs to get a lot tougher - it is not just about do they have the clean money but motivation, football knowledge and a whole lot more.

There could be consequences for Wigan Warriors as well. If the football club gets wound up, the stadium would have to be sold to pay of their debts which would leave the rugby club homeless. It's ironic as the sharing of the DW came about because the rugby club had to sell their stadium to pay of their debts.

Really pleased for Wigan, a nice little club.
As for Reading, well they deserve everything they get, horrible club, horrible fans.

I'll wait and see re Wigan - another group "backed" by a billionaire - may have saved them for now but how much will they put in. Also interesting to note thatch billionaire backer also owns Wigan Warriors rugby club. Now where have I seen that before.? Maybe a sting in the tail so to speak
Re Reading - no sympathy for them - they have been breaking the limits for ages and being dishonest about it and deserve what they get. Our owners got it totally wrong but at least were honest about what they did and just fought it out as a legal battle. Reading have been sweeping stuff under the carpet and getting away with it until now - why did they not get hit with the same sort of fine as we were?
