His signing was complete - he was legally Cardiff player so they should have taken responsibility for his travel. 100 million - guess they will claim they would not have been relegated if he was playing so want to claim lost PL money. Sad to see fighting for money over a dead player. Football reaches the gutter. |

In one of the most meaningless punishments in the EFL, Wigan also had a further 3 points deducted this season - after the season had finished.
So they ended up with 39 points.
I understand next season's points deduction, but what is the point.....
I wonder if the punishment would have been applied if it was the difference between Wigan staying up or going down?
So they have now set a precedent.

EFL now increased next seasons punishment to 8 points deduction on top of this seasons 6 points - so 14 points in total
It is the fans who suffer.

Going for £750k apparently. To think, we could have snapped him up for £4.2m Seems even Leeds know that he is not worth keeping, even at that value. |

And mystery illness and injury spread to our other old friend Dion Sanderson. Woke in the night with a foot injury. There is a good squad of players at Birmingham, but as we know, when they down tools, it is well worth a 'sit this one out!' All the signs that the players are not playing for Rooney. Not surprising after he announced that there will be a large number of players arriving in January to replace the current crop. The group that Eustace got into 6th place before being sacked... Good to know that we are no longer basket case club of the season. |

Rooney with 5 points from 27 reminding me of Ainsworth mark two with his 8 points from 42 this season.
Had Eustace not left Brum in 6 th when Rooney took over they would be in bottom three with us.
Surely on this form already dropping 10 places in the league table,it would be questionable if he will be in his job at the January window, rather than talking about replacing the squad.

So he is loaned back to Watford, no loan fee, no option to buy, but perhaps in lieu of staged payment owed, or just picking up a proportion of wages. Forest make what we did back in the day look almost sane! They must be in one hell of a mess and the world awaits their punishment and how it equates to our punishment.
