The Arsenal Keeper Ramsdale and the incident with Spurs supporters made me cast my mind back to Feb 1962. Promotion chasing QPR were at Home to Watford in a League Division 3 fixture. In the second half Rangers attacking the Loftus Rd end were losing 2-1 and were piling on the pressure to get the equaliser. Derek Underwood(ex QPR) the Watford Goalie kept making a number of outstanding saves the consequence of which earned him a torrent of abuse (plus a few peanut shell missiles from the Boys Pen) from the frustrated R's fans behind that goal. Watford held on for their 2-1 victory and right at the final whistle Dave Underwood dropped his shorts and bared his backside to his tormentors in an understandable gesture of defiance ....as if to say Bum to you lot! We won! No Spectator got on the pitch to attack him although I felt at the time some would have liked too! I was in the Boys Pen that day and was very surprised by the happening as well as being very upset by our defeat! However I plead not guilty M'lud to the throwing of any Peanut Shells

As for the Spurs spectator, unusually, the cameras caught it live, the main sight being the cowardly way the lad scampered up the stand having done it. There will always be idiots associated with football I guess.
