So much for using the break to get everyone fit. Johansen , Amos, Balogan, Roberts, - none even make the bench and we have Thomas starting and a weak bench (and no manager). So we should win comfortably.

FFS Yeap 100% nail on penalty - how did the ref and linesman not see that - then an unstoppable bender for them to score. Never rains but it pours and that decision in the first minute should have been a dream start and different light on the game. Long way back against this team now though. |

Yep we need a Manager asap to stop the rot of one point from eighteen.
Away at Preston next that soon may become one from 21 and we are bottom half of table looking under us.
Hall didn’t really get them motivated at all, started off shocking and and that bull about having a sting squad to chose from, pfff .
Starts Thomas and then brings in the club saviour Shodipo at ht , dearly me were very average.

I didn’t really expect to beat Burnley if frank.
I did better performance, that was pretty poor from Hall, if they don’t appoint someone anyone soon we will be 15th in a blink of a hat.

Missed penalty and then free kick that even their player was saying he wasn't fouled !! Really poor Ref. Only good thing to come out of the game. That must surely eliminate Paul Hart as a cheap fix for manager.

Why cant we get someone like Kompany?? Because we haven’t just been relegated from the Premier League and so don’t have parachute payment money to spend on players. Burnley have spent £20.6m on players this summer. You think Kompany ‘cuts his teeth’ at a club with no money who would have to sell their best players soon to fend off another FFP fine? |

Can’t argue with the result, Burnley a class above us with or without the refs help. Pretty lifeless performance all round, new gaffer has a real task at hand.
