Great England win and now we can get our keeper back for Sunday. Hope my homeland team Spain does the same against Morocco and then we get Chair back.

I hope Chair is training hard so he will be fit if he makes it back in time - not much sign of him getting on the pitch out there so he should be rested and uninjured.
The only benefit of the Sunday kick off against Burnley is the extra day Seny and Chair will have to rejoin the squad - if Spain win.

Makes a mockery of the so called World Cup break and starting the Championship before the PL, and starting the same day as the first 2 quarter finals. If Morocco win their next game it will be Boxing Day before we see Chair again with the meaningless 3rd/4th place play-off to come.

Chair earns us more Money as Morocco thro to last 4 😳 Miss him for Preston I guess now also. Can’t think of a smaller team thro to last 4 in World Cup for some time I take the point completely Harr but I think the days of regarding some of these African and Asian as 'small' teams are over. Many of the African players actually play in some of the top leagues in Europe and have the technique and experience. Morocco may be be small but they have only conceded one goal in their last 8 or 9 games - and that was an unfortunate own goal and they have been on a run going back over 40 games with just a couple of defeats. They have a system and players that know what they have to do even though they changed managers 3 months ago. The players stick to their plan and it works. It is good we get some money for the absence of Chair. He will miss the Preston game now as well even if they lose the semi-final. The needless 3rd place play off game is on the same date as Preston. No doubt we will probably miss Chair a bit but hope that if the rest of the squad are now fit we do have cover. The other concern is that by the time he gets back will he be match fit? Obviously their squad has been in full training but there is no sign of him getting on even as a sub unless he gets a run in the 3rd place game if they lose the semi. The earliest he can play for us will be Boxing Day if he gets back in time through the travel strikes and is deemed to be fully match fit. We might even have a new manager by then if we are lucky! As for England - sorry but they got what they deserved after a soft first goal and as soon as they got the second penalty I said do not let Kane take it - 2 against his club keeper in the same game is one too many and and too much pressure - you could see it on his face - plenty of other good penalty takers on the pitch. Must admit the ref was a joke - you would think FIFA would put their top refs on such a game and between 2 European teams why chose a South American where standards are different.
