I would have thought that after Chelsea, Potter would be as bigger risk as Beale. But as you pointed out in anther thread, so many international breaks coming up, every one a banana skin for struggling managers.

Sunday morning fun quiz - multiple choice on Beale's instagram changes. 1. He is super confident and taking the P*** because of the bad press 2. He is fed up with seeing or hearing from his players and has lost the dressing room 3. He is wearing a QPR top because he really is loyal and is coming back to replace Ainsworth in November 4. He has had enough and he is off to Saudi where a season or two (if he can last that long) will set him up to retire and live a life of luxury 5. "Mutual Consent" departure has been agreed and will be announced next week 6. He has been tapped up by Wallace again and is off to Forest 7. None of the above. Answers on a 20 pound note to my bank please.

The guy's ego is astonishing!

Rangers manager is a dream job, with European football and the chance to win something. Or is it? In many ways, both the Celtic and Rangers jobs are assignments to hell. For as long as I can remember, the two clubs have dominated the top tier in Scotland, apart from the blip when Rangers were penalised down the leagues. So European football all but guaranteed, but then the squads are ill-prepared for that level of competitive football. Especially, the early season qualifiers that can be a complete lottery. So it comes swiftly back to trying to beat each other. Beale is even up against Rogers now, a manager far too experienced for him. The expectation is huge, the disappointment immense. Beale's eagerness to get the job at Rangers was based on his tremendous self-belief and his PR machine that had already hoovered up all the accolades for any success Gerrard may have achieved. When he talks, he sounds the business, I thought he talked sense when he was at QPR. But increasingly, he seems to be telling himself as much as the waiting media. He hurt our club badly. He must be hurting himself now. For a man with his ego, he must be experiencing self-doubt for possibly the first time in his career. Or perhaps the self-doubt was always there, and it was always about bigging himself up into something he is not. My guess is that next stop will be one of the European Leagues. Build some success and belief and go again - probably in the Prem. But not one of the top jobs that he thought he was destined for. Scottish Rangers is a poisoned chalice that perhaps he never saw coming because he just assumed success. www.ibroxnews.com/2023/09/12/rangers-sources-respond-as-michael-beale-sack-speculation-builds-chris-jack/But for now he is still in a job it seems

So many conflicting statements - he is probably safe until the October or November breaks unless he loses on Saturday.
What goes around comes around though. He claimed honesty integrity and loyalty to us - then walked out. Rangers say he is safe and not under threat ........seem that one before!
As the report says only Beale can say why he started changing his social media profile - a move which seemed to distant himself from Rangers. He should come out and say why he changed it but I doubt he will and doubt I would believe him anyway. Something interesting to follow during these international breaks though.

When he joined us he said we were an interesting "project". Looks like his latest project is about to explode in his face!

Won yesterday; so presumably at Rangers at least a little longer.
So much for the "In The Know" guys who post - Not that someone's job in danger. Pretty obvious. But that "he's gone." Just like re Chris Willock "He's signed for Boro"

1-3 loss to Aberdeen and the Scottish daggers are out again with Beale admitting he does not know what will happen with his job.
Maybe he would like to show his loyalty and come back to QPR...........

Wonder where he will go next On to another "project" as he called QPR. Glad he got the sack. Move on to another poor unsuspecting club that he can stuff up in all likelihood. Not his greatest fan I'm afraid

We should take him back and tell him to finish what he started. All he needs to do is have the same start as before that took us top of the table then he can move on after 16 games with some unsuspecting club paying us another million or two in compensation. Stranger things have happened but not sure he would be welcomed back with open arms Glad but also sad he got a taste of his own medicine on loyalty - should work both ways but in modern day football there is no such thing.

Beale took what was a decent backroom staff from us to Glasgow. Wonder how they feel now ....and Balogun. The new broom at G.R.'s will probably sweep them all under the carpet as normal and they can relocate their families again - if they were unfortunate enough to move them north in the first place.
Sorry for them and a pity as some would certainly be an improvement on what we have now if they had stayed.

He did some strange things at Rangers - hence the media saying that it is his own fault. He seems to have recruited from his own network, irrespective of form and ability, releasing better players than he brought in. For such a 'clever chap' it was either arrogance or ineptitude.

If he's actually a good coach/manager; he'll get the chance. Eventually. But I'd imagine his next job will be less good than his QPR Job! And he's going to have to work his way back up....

I would say he is probably a good coach - as a number 2. When partnered with a good manager he will do well but given overall control he seems to lose the plot.

No proof he's a good manager, most of his signings have Failed here and at GRANGERS and proven untrustworthy to boot.
