Things appear to be moving rapidly "Appear" is the word that worries me. Lots of rumours and deals to be completed but then we were certain to sign Steve Cook until Forest snatched him from under our noses. When a few of these names sign on the dotted line I will believe it but at least we seem to be interest in the right sort of players but no rumours on a striker yet as far as I know.

I think the signs are really encouraging . Mark Warburton struggled in the last 3-4 months but overall I would say he took us forward . I think we could build on his work further here. So far things look like we have a plan who we want and are going to get the players to fill our spaces. That’s positive for me.

Almost certainly clickbait, but we and Swansea said to be chasing Dimitris Pelkas of Fenerbache. Winger said to have a market value of E4.5m. Club has one more year plus a further one year option, so hardly likely to be a bargain. I would think way out of both QPR and Swansea's aspirations.

Sheesh, wembley22 was much more optimistic. Not really. I had a chat with my close friends Wembley, 75, and 57. We are all eternal optimists and hope for the impossible but seeing action and results makes the move from dreaming to reality. Still it’s good to keep people thinking with the odd thought provoking comment or change of names. Human nature being what it is I have observed directly that a couple of posters including one admin react more to who posts rather than what they say. Glad you are keeping track though 👍

I would be interested to see Newcastle striker Elliot Anderson in the Championship.
He absolutely tore up League 1 for Bristol Rovers last season, he basically took them from relegation candidates at Xmas to automatic promotion.
Every Rovers fan I talked to said the same thing, that he was ridiculously way better than that division and that he was at least a Championship level striker, good enough for the Prem. He is only a kid and may well be surplus to requirements at moneybags Newcastle United now. I think he might be worth looking at.
Could end up getting him cheap and getting a real steal with him.

Dieng to Fulham for £4.5m I hope not. It is Twitter after all. Selling Dieng - bad To Fulham - very bad For 4.5 million - extremely bad With the money Fulham will make for another year in the PL they can certainly afford more than 4.5 million and we would be stupid to accept less than 10 million if he is to be their first choice keeper. Start asking at 20 million and see what the Foolhams do

Any day another McNamara knock back. What’s that third time now, we must be around the million mark , I would imagine Millwall want closer to two.?
