Adventure awaits with this lineup. I wish I could change my pred to a 3-2 win!

Well Chair's later than expected departure for AFCON did not help us at all. The question is if he is unfit for us if he fit to travel to Africa? It's bad enough having Seny go to sit on the bench but if Chair goes and does not play before they get knocked out it will be a complete waste.
I assume Johansen has a slight knock or maybe just protecting him against a potential longer term absence if he has a strain now. Still 2 weeks before our next big game with WBA.

Injury delay with Brum having to change keepers. Maybe we can put one past him!

Great three points , two good wins, just a shame about the Bournemouth game where we were very rusty.
Next big League game after FA Cup is WBA home. Hopefully we can do better against them . As our scores against the top three of last year we lost twice to Bournemouth and lost to Fulham and WBA. Although now Blackburn are in top three and we did mange to beat them.
Next games after FA Cup, where we will be without Chair and Dieng WBA home Cov away Swansea rearranged home Reading Home
Stoke have two games this midweek, we could do with them losing one.

Losing Chair and Dieng is a blow but we have a squad to choose from. Going 3 4 1 2 might give us something if we play willock behind 2 strikers?

Even better news via WBA , Mowatt one of there better players sent off straight Red will miss QPR , their goalkeeper Sam Johnstone also sent off.

I'm not a great one for stats especially in the Championship but I did notice that in the 2 games without Chair our number of chances/shots on goal dropped dramatically from our pre Covid break numbers. Yesterday we had 6 shots - 5 on target which is good and 2 goals but in earlier games we were at times up nearer 20 shots a game.
Whether that was the missing Chair effect or just the way things worked out is anybody's guess but we need to get that stat back up as we cannot rely on clean sheets and scraping the odd goal.
