Talksport raving about us. Should be 2 up atleast. Master class in playing away against one of the top teams. Might need to freshen things up second half but then again we are the best team in the league in the second half. COYS

Doing well but as they say it's never over til the fat lady sings. Hopefully not 10 minutes added time to endure and a last kick equaliser or losing goal.
Positive thinking and we will do it says Yoda!

We give the ball away cheaply chair was guilty of that to often tonight we started 2nd half well but just looked like we can't hold on to a lead need to get back to winning ways again soonx

Same old story sloppy goals given away and a second match lost like Bristol. Falling down the table like a sack of spuds. Going nowhere unless we sort out these silly lapses. Frustrating to watch

Reaching that sad point again when it doesn’t matter who the opposition are you just don’t have any faith we’re going to keep a clean sheet.
And the Warbs haters, who have been quiet for months biding their time will be out in force on Twitter tonight.
I’m going to be pragmatic because this is the Championship and good runs and bad runs happen all the time, it’s inevitable, and no one wins this league or gets a playoff place in September, but these last few games have been hard pills to swallow.
At least some of our ‘fans’ will be enjoying this now though.

Why in the world is Austin not playing? He's a reserve so he's not hurt. Is bit he cant go 3 games.and then play. Cos he failed the Baggies. Who the hel knows.

We just cannot handle direct style football and are pretty useless at it if we try it ourselves. Awful game and really never looked like keeping our lead. 3 league defeats on the trot, back down to earth and the drawing board.

So what went wrong - what did we learn?
Seny only made one mistake - but it was a big one - it happens - hope he can put it behind him. 3 games in 6 days took its toll - we looked tired and off the pace - especially our star players Chair and Willock That was probably Chair's poorest game of the season so far - they crowded him and he lost the ball several times Kakay's positioning for the second goal was again poor - he seems unaware when plyers run off him The cup schedule has really caught up with us regarding injuries - Johansen and Jordy looked worrying I thought Barbet was a better wing back than that - perhaps he is only a left back - we were exposed. Furlong was everywhere. Gray caught them cold, but was nearly offside - for the rest of the evening he was standing offside trying to pull the line back - it did not work Dunne was put under a lot of pressure - Hugill is still a thug. Not sure about the tactic of sending him wide left for Seny to aim for - Furlong won every time. Dykes substitution could have been a tactical masterclass - it wasn't - he did not know how to beat the high line either. WBA are a good side, who were well rested - we met them on Sky TV on a Friday night when we were tired - why did I predict a draw??? Very disappointing, but we did not deserve anything, but we were not that bad and over the last three games we have been cruelly punished for individual mistakes. I hope we can bounce back. We are still a developing team and we are sure to have set backs. Despite all the above, we are a good team and I love this squad. Come on U Rs.

Very disappointed after the way things went for 70 minutes. Hope Dieng's slip is not a loss of confidence or distraction from summer transfer talk. He has made a couple of errors this season that were not apparent last season - or maybe they just got punished this time round. With his international involvement he has hardly had a break so maybe a couple of games rest on eth bench would do him good but resting him after that error would be mistake and likely run down his confidence.
But hey this is the Championship and we are still a good team but ran out of steam at end last night, and that's when mistakes happen. Being realistic we have lost 2 away games at WBA and Bournemouth both by the odd goal and both having given a good account of ourselves. Those 2 teams along side Fulham are the favourites for automatic promotion and not many teams are going to get anything from their away games there. Bristol City was one of those things - totally on top and fell for 2 sucker punches when over committed at the front at the end of each half.
Now we have to sweat on how bad Johansen is crocked and with another run of games coming up I think how the table looks at the end of October will be a good indication. If we can return to winning ways we should be back in the top 6. Meanwhile who would have forecast Coventry being top of the table last night - if only for 15 minutes and can they keep that going?. It's a long season and as we know anything can happen in the Championship.
No doubt the Warburton / Taxi writers are rubbing their hands or have even pulled their fingers out to start their campaigns but I for one will not be joining them or even descending to reply to them.

Our problem was that after 60 minutes we started to try and time waste. Near 2 minutes to take a frigging throw in. FFS. At that moment and we were 1-0 up, I knew we would lose as I pointed out on Hoops down Under. I said you watch them score and they duely did. VERY VERY frustrating. We stole a loss from the jaws of Victory.

I don't think the Warbs haters will surface just yet but the worry is that with key players injured the squad is then exposed as a work in progress and not ready for top 6 the same defensive issues were there 2 seasons ago positioning and lack of awareness begs to ask do we have a defensive coach as same players are making similar errors these defeats may be a blessing and we come back stronger let's hope but warbs football is a mile better than what we have had for a good few seasons

Terrible defensively, Chair needs to be loaned out or left on the bench for a while. He is not up to this level IMO. Should have made changes second half, but Toastman once again in dreamland. Still we are back to our old self by throwing games away, and that is kinda emotional.
